Its so easy to use and mix. I honestly dont use the dropper I just made an even layer on top of the acrylic paint in my mixing cup. I let it stand for 20 minutes mixing twice. You can see many air bubbles start to form quickly. I also want to add I used 3 oz of Flood Floetrol per color of paint, a layer of GAC 800 per color of paint and 2 oz of paint for each color. I havent had a negative reaction or any cracking during the drying stage! Happy Crafting!

After reading most of the reviews for this silicone oil, and other ones like it, I decided to get this one because I really wanted cells in my acrylic pour paintings. When I tried it the first time, I followed the advice of others, and used 4-5 drops in my paint, along with some pouring medium and it didnt work at all. However, when I used it a second time, I actually added 10 drops, and instead of using it with a pouring medium, I used it with a water+dish soap mixture, and I think that helped the cells form, even though it formed too many cells. I still think it looks cool and at least I know for next time that I shouldnt put too much oil in my paint!

I purchased this product to try with acrylic pouring. I'm very happy with how well it works. I'm still in the trial and error phase of learning to do pouring. Lucky for me that I found this product because it works perfectly. I use a 1:1 ratio of paint and Elmers glue. I then add water to thin the mixture a little and just a couple of drops of the silicone. Made beautiful cells even before using a torch
