Pass through J45

I have had some issues with pass throughs in the past we use the klein crimping tool. you just Want to make sure you have fresh blades so you have a clean cut every time.

They are easy to crimp

These work fine, I was able to crimp them with no trouble.

A little finicky, but generally works great.

It's pretty durable, feels like its got a little weight to it. The only complaint I have is the item is specifically designed to work well with the pass through connectors. I've found the blade that cuts off the excess wire isn't exactly perfect. The cut isn't complete and thorough. Every connector requires me to pull off some loose strands that are 95% cut through. It also exposes a small portion of the wires through the end of the connector, it's not a clean/flush cut.

These feel a little overpriced, but they're effective

First foray into Cat6 and Cat6 cabling, after many years of building telephone cords. Have to say, got my confidence right up once I tested my builds and found them working. The cat6 is an evil beast, getting those wires straight and lined up in sequence then through the plugs. The pass-through version surely makes it easier. Not certain if I missed a step in my self-guide youtube training, but found I had to 'over-insert,' snip the ends, then pull back to completely embed the cables in the ends. Not sure if this is exactly the right technique, but they're working great and I built almost a bottle worth of ends worth of cables.

I mistakenly purchased these plugs thinking that they were the ones with the separate insert. Well I am extremely happy with my mistake. These connectors are a dream. The seller is a dream as well. I mistakenly made a comment that I had asked for the ones with the inserts and he pointed out that I read the advertisement wrong. I DID and he still refunded my purchase price against my strong opposition. SO STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS NOW. I am 63 and consider myself very tech savy and very mechanically inclined but I could not get other connectors to work. These are so simple. Just strip the wire, slide the individual wires, in order, through each whole, crimp next and then cut off the excess. Do not cut off excess until you have crimped. BUY THIS PRODUCT....IT IS GREAT!! Also I bought a new crimp tool because I could not get them to crimp. The tool is made by Gardner Bender GB Model GMC 1145D. Worked perfect on my first connector. You can feel it snap down. Big difference from my older one I bought at Home Depot. I bought the GB tool at another local ACE Hardware store.
