This entire system of JANYUN 8 Pieces Heat Erasable Pens for Fabric with 52 Refills works very well. I have marked up a lot fabric easily with these erasable pens. I usually use chalk but since I purchased this system I have only used it. it is very fast, and gives me a thin line. I have not had any problems with erasing with my iron. Works great, I love it.

I have had no problem with these fabric pens. I'm particular, I've used the white on several projects and it has been great. You must wait several seconds for the white ink to appear but after it does, it is clearly visible and disappears easily with heat after sewing. Note: There were no instructions but to load the ink tube into the pen holder, you must unscrew the metal cone on the tip. I also placed a bit of tape on the hole of the round end cap to keep it from drying out. For the price, they are terrific!

I have been sewing for years. This is the best tool for marking. Chalk does always mark accurately or come out completely , the other pens that fade with time , sometimes fad too soon. The color stays until heat is applied. Ironing works so does just throwing it in the dryer. Marks gone! The white sometimes takes a little while to show up, be patient wait a few seconds before you mark it again. The range of colors is great. I can always find one that will work. Great product! Wish I had these years ago.

I have tried these pens out on cotton fabric, the black and blue inks work the best the white isn't very pigmented but it does show up on darker fabric. The red one is ok but it fades to a pinkish color. The black and blue pens also fade to lighter colors. They all dissappear with a hot iron. I have not checked to see if the ink comes back when exposed to cold. (Most other brands do) They are a reasonable alternative to other heat erase pens. The pens assemble oddly, but once you get the ink stick inside the pen barrel it feels like another pen. I have not tested them on any other kind of fabric, some heat erase inks will leave a permanent mark when removed. Works well on quilting cotton. The lines aren't drawn as crisp or as fine as other brands, but it does a fairly good job at it. Except for the red, it was a tad blotchy but usable. This pack should last me quite a while.

I ordered this set several months ago and for the most part I have been pleased. I am writing a review now because I just finished this special project. It was a big deal that I get it perfect. On the tank (pictured above) there was a lot of detail. It is green, I could not get the white pen to even show up on the green fabric so I used the dark blue to outline my stitching lines. When I went to press away the lines after stitching the ink turned WHITE on the green fabric! And it would not erase away. For the most part the green satin stitches covered it but there are two distinct areas where there is a little white line/circle on the fabric. On the yellow fabric I also used the blue pen to make lines to make sure I lined up the letters/numbers even. When I went to press the yellow flag the blue disappeared to WHITE lines! I was horrified. I was able to press a few more times and the white lines lightened up but I could still see them. I delivered the flag and I am sure no one is going to notice but I just had to let everyone know my experience. For the most part I have used these for several months on projects but just dots and small hash marks on projects. I had no idea this white residue would show up. I have two other brands of heat friction pens and I experimented on some scraps of the green and yellow fabric and it completely disappeared with no sign of the pen marks.
