Fantastic Slow Feeder Insert

Bought this for our newly adopted pup who inhales his food. This works extremely well at slowing him down. We've been using this for about a month and have had no issue with the suction, which is what our primary worry was. Very happy with purchase and would highly recommend!

Significantly slowed down my dogs eating

My dogs devour food like they have never eaten before in their lives. That being said, they were getting just a little chunky and even though I was reducing their food intake amount, they were not losing weight. The vet told me to try out a slow feeder before trying diet food. I really love their ceramic bowls that they have so when I found this insert I was sold. They now spend 5-10 minutes eating their dinner with versus 2 minutes without. These have strong suction cups on the bottom that cling to the bowl and are strong enough to latch and hold to the bowl if you are only holding onto the slow feeder. I do add water to their kibble, so at the end of their meal I do take the insert out so they can lick their bowls clean because crumbs/water can get underneath. I have not tried to wash these in the dishwasher, but they are super super quick to rinse off/hand clean and then cling to the side of the sink between each feeding. No food gets stuck in the corners and they still look brand new. Highly recommend these.

9 wk puppy pulls it out after a week of using it. Definitely worked well for that week. Rubber is quality. Our older dogs it definitely slowed them down when eating.
