I bought these JJ CARE knee patches for pain relief. They are really easy to apply and adhere well to my skin. They do a great job of providing pain relief. The only downside is that they have a strong odor. Its not overwhelming, but its noticeable.

My knees ache with any weather change. I've been using medicated pads off and on, but I don't like the smell. These do not have a smell but still work well. Apply them with your knee bent (especially if you have hairy legs) otherwise it will pull the hair on your leg every time you move. The description on the box claims that it is cooling - I don't get a cooling sensation - but that doesn't diminish the effectiveness.

I feel like it depends on the person and what type of knee pain they are having if these are going to work or not. They are easy to adhere to your skin with the stretchability of them. For me as a lady with smooth skin they stayed in place well even when working outside in the yard. For my husband with hairy legs that sweats alot they didn't stay in place as long as the adhesive started coming loose. I also had better luck with feeling them work and the warmth provided to my knee. I didn't think it took the pain away, but it did soothe it some. Overall they are a nice product that may or may not work for your particular pain.

My body is as about as broken as they come and I am always trying to compensate with pain patches and I would say that most of the time they never stick, sometimes they even roll up like a sausage on my back. In other words, I do not expect miracles with these things, no matter what they state, they usually don't stick, I am not sure if they really help or if it is more like a placebo effect that doesn't really help but makes you feel like it is. Anyway, this one is alright for what it is, it is very mentholated so my suggestion is not to wear them if you are going to be around people, which I never do, and you can't really wear them on your knees and then go for a mile and a half jog, nothing sticks that well. Other than that, I don't really mind them because when my knees hurts, I will do anything to even slightly help the pain. I can't state that they help the pain anywhere, but as I stated above, I am not sure anything really does help, they are pretty durable for the most part, and as stated, wear them when you are staying at home and give a warning to your partner or indoor pet about the smell. I personally don't mind the menthol smell, but some people do. All in all, they seem to do fine for what it is, though I wouldn't expect miracles as nothing is that much of a sure thing.

These patches did not do much for me. I asked my son to try them and he had the same results. They only stayed attached to his leg for about an hour since he was active while using. You do get a large amount of patches that will last awhile if they work for you.
