Ordered this after paying for a pricier recommended brand. After nearly sewing the other slider to my quilt I decided to find something that actually worked as described. Love, love, love this one! Easy to apply, better quality, added markings (unlike last brand I ordered). And last but not least, it stays put! Have recommended to several friends who agree its definitely worth the money and a better quality than others we have tried.

you have to cut down to fit sewing machine and i cut bigger hole for top loading bobbin i have sew steady extension just tried free motion quilting on it fabric does not slide and does not stay down don't waste money!!!!

Jonick Quilting Slider Mat with Tacky Back - Sew Slip Mat for Quilting -12x20. I stopped what I was doing to make sure I wrote this review. I LOVE this slider mat. I have used the name brand slider mats and even silicon baking sheets (which work great by the way), but nothing fully worked. For one reason or another, they are all lacking in some way. I'm not even sure how, but this mat came up on an ZeeBooth search for something else and after reading the reviews I ordered it. It is AWESOME! Here are some reasons why... * It works! It is slick as promised. The small quilt I'm currently working on slides beautifully. And it's a fabric that typically creates a lot of drag just because of the finish on the fabric itself. * The mat is the perfect size for my machine deck. I have a Juki TL2000 with an 8" throat space. It's like I custom ordered this mat. Because of the fit, it covers all of the areas inside the throat a quilt would typically hit and the quilt moves effortlessly. * I love the Zeroing ruler. The ruler has larger numbers that zero out at the needle, meaning that either direction I go from the needle gives me an accurate measurement. Such a handy feature when piecing. Plus the ruler has vertical and horizontal measurements. Soooooo handy! * It sticks to my table like a dream!!!!!! I took it out of the packaging it came in, unrolled it, left the protective plastic in place, and put a couple of books on it for about an hour before putting it down on my machine table. That was enough for it to lie flat once I "installed" it. And it doesn't move.... at all! I do have to lift it when replacing a bobbin, but I have to do that with any quilting mat I've used. I don't move the whole mat, I just lift up the left side of the mat. It kind of curls up and waits for me to get done and then I just lay it back in place. * It's very well made. This mat is thick! It's not flimsy at all. It has a very substantial feel to it and as mentioned above, the stickiness is great! My machine table is an old dining table my husband modified. This mat covers any gaps that exist between the machine and the cut out; something that's always been a little problematic even though my husband did a great job in modifying this table. This is a great product (I'm not getting paid to say this!) and if you're looking for a slider mat, give this one a try.

This is a great size for this type of mat. It fits on the machine when not using an extension table. It is good for small freemotion projects but also makes piecing so much nicer as the fabric slides very nicely when doing regular stitching. I cut the opening larger so it would fit over the area of the feed dogs for use when the feed dogs are up. Great for taking to classes as the size packs well. Also, the lines on the mat are helpful for a number of reasons one of which is that it makes it easy to sew angles without marking the pieces.
