Great sound and easy setup

Bought this to fix a 3-5 second delay in my 2012 Honda CRV's bluetooth audio and it worked perfectly. Audio is now a .5-1s delay maximum (can't avoid this with Bluetooth) and call audio is crystal clear and the microphones are decent enough, definitely better than my car's microphones. Setup is as easy as plugging it in and mounting it somewhere on your dash with the provided adhesive. Can't speak to the longevity of it, but I don't imagine there's much to go wrong here over time. Only negative I have for it (I'm not even sure if this is really the devices fault), my car's forward and back buttons no longer work for skipping songs. Luckily the device has these buttons easy accessible, so it's just a matter of getting used to pressing those instead of my cars. Overall, I should've done this years ago when I bought the car instead of dealing with the massive bluetooth audio delays. This is an easy buy, easy setup, and I'm sure it'll do the job for a long time to come.

Works well

The JOYROOM Bluetooth 5.3 Car Adapter with Dual Mics works very well. It connects to my phone quickly and every time. I have not lost connection so far. The sound quality is phenomenal, however, the music doesn't appear to be as loud as it did while plugged into the headphone adapter. Not enough to complain about, but the overall punch is not there. Granted, I enjoy bass-heavy music where the bass hits you in the chest. So, if you're not into that, you will not notice the output level as I did. You will be pleasantly pleased with this unit. As for call quality, everyone I have spoken with has said they've heard me just fine. I wish there was a way to turn off the LED lights. I'm not a fan of having a lot of lights on my dash, but the low output level of the lights do not bother me. They don't light up the entire cab the way other products have done. I'm able to ignore them. As long as this stays connected to my phone and lasts for a year, I would consider this a recommended buy. I am overall pleased with this unit.

Love this. Getting a second one

I have owned a few of these over the years, and none of them have been very good. But this device, the Joy Room thing, is phenomenally easy to set up, easy to use, works without a problem, doesn't have batteries that will die, and is the type of completely simplistic device that I would recommend to anyone.

Quick and simple, everything I need and nothing I don't

Connects quickly and consistently as soon as I turn the car on. Immediately ready to play music or take calls in my older car with an aux port. I've tried another solution similar to this one, but the microphones on the JOYROOM device are far better. The ability to mount the control and microphone high up on the dashboard makes for much simpler operation and very good call quality. For iPhone users, remember that your iPhone controls bluetooth volume for calls and music separately, so if your phone calls are quiet compared to your music, adjust the volume on your phone before you crank up the volume in your car. Once you get this set up the first time, it seems to remember and works great every time I get back in the car.

Decent

The device is pretty nice over all. PROS: - Easy to connect - Connection is consistent and reliable - Sound quality is not terrible (More in CONS) - Long cables (though this makes it harder to keep tidy) - Simple to use - Came with a second adhesive pad - No engine noise coming through the USB wire. CONS: - There seems to be no way to turn off the RGB lighting. (But it's not TOO bright) - The description says "High Fidelity" but there is no "HD Audio" connection. (Meaning it doesn't use the HD Bluetooth codecs) - The volume buttons behave strangely sometimes. Other thoughts: - The size of the device is a little awkward for my car. (2012 Fit) It is just a little too big to fit nicely with all the curves. - I really wish there were settings for the RGB. (Brightness, colors, etc) - There are no instructions on what the TF card slot is for or how to use it. - The instruction manual humorously describes the various tones the device makes!
