Just what was needed.

Just what I needed. Changed my setup to add a portable monitor as a second screen but due to some space issues I had to have my work laptop in the vertical position so it made some awkward wire placement for the USBC and HDMI cable. I was concerned with the usbc in particular because it wasnt sticking out straight and was bending under its own weight. I didnt want to risk it so I got the right angle adapter and it now looks so much better. Barely even notice the cable and not an eye sore. I did have some weird issues initially. My laptop was saying it was slow charging every plugged in to the docking station for that usbc wire needed to be remapped so the computer can find it. I didnt have to do much and it resolved itself in a day. 100% works, no issues or flickering. Note: 2 things to keep in mind for this product. 1) its limited to 4K 60hz. 2) the max wattage is 100watts. So make sure your computer charging requirements arent more than that or youll run into your computer slow charging.

If you don't want a new cable, but an angled connector

Works to add a right angle connection to a USB-C cable. Works fine to connect a portable monitor and charge my iPad.

Even works with Thunderbolt.

These adapters are a great value. I am using both that were included in the package. One is being used with an Anker USB-C mobile dock. Works flawlessly. It even lets me tidy up the cable for storage in my laptop bag. On a lark I tried this with an HP Thunderbolt dock connected to a ZBook Firefly. I am amazed that the Thunderbolt connectivity works. Not all USB-C things are Thunderbolt compatible, but this little adapter works great. You don't have that 1 and 3/8" Connector sticking straight out the side of your device asking to get broken (ask me how I know). The adapters are well-constructed and provide a solid connection. It even blends in with Anker's gunmetal grey color. I have nothing negative to say about these. They're inexpensive, they work, enough said.
