I found this item works better with over the ear headphones that have a volume control built in. This item also bluetooth connects better with newer headphones as opposed to older models. Long story short, it worked perfectly for my needs.

Does not sinc to television audio.

I purchased JXTZ Bluetooth 5.2 Transmitter Receiver to watch television while on the treadmill. It was easy to set up and use right out of the box. however, the sound from my Bluetooth ear pods was delayed by half a second creating the effect of watching a dubbed foreign film. This item may be great for streaming music to a speaker, but for me, it does not work for watching television.

Solid performance with a couple of issues

First of all, would I buy it again? Maybe. If I got a good price for it I would have no problem picking it up again. I have had other bluetooth receivers that were pretty bad, and this one is decent. What I like: 1. It maintains a great connection. 2. It auto connects to the last device used. 3. It has controls for audio that control the connected device as well as a microSD card plugged into the unit itself. 4. Quality of the sound across all frequencies, including driving our sub woofer, is excellent. What I don't like: 1. If you pair a second device it deletes the first device from its memory. With a display, such as it has, it wouldn't be a big deal to have it store other devices to choose from a menu rather than having to pair them each time you want to use them. 2. Sound is throttled down. Even with the volume on the highest setting on both the source device, and the bluetooth unit the volume is not as loud as our other BT receiver (TPLink). So, this is certainly an issue with this unit. 3. The display is very bright, and there is no option to turn off the display without turning off the unit. Not hard to just put something over the unit, but that seems like it should be unnecessary. Bottom line is that it has been rock solid for the last month of daily use with no hiccups, and really good quality sound if not the loudest. I suspect that the preset EQ buttons are the reason the sound is not as loud as it could be. To be honest I would rather ditch the EQ presets in favor of the full potential volume. A full signal from this unit fed through a minimal pre-amp would give me the control I need to shape the sound.
