This one seemed to come with everything one may need to learn how to do it. And surprisingly it did! The kit arrived in a timely manner, and was packaged nicely. Nothing seemed to be missing from what the package said, but also the description given here. this kit came with designs, a hope, thread, needle and basically everything you would need to start your cross stitching journey. Personally, I felt this kit would be good for not only teens, but also adults. The instructions are written but there is also a QR code to get the video lessons on what you are learning. This is great as it reaches more people with the multiple ways in which one can learn a stitch. I thought it was a good touch. One downside is that there is only one hoop. So if you planned to display the first completed embroidery you wouldn't be able to work on another without going out (or ordering) another hoop. Personally, that is only a minor inconvenience to me - I have also seen people put them in frames, so that's another, maybe more affordable option to finishing each one. Overall, this kit was priced reasonably compared to other similar kits; and I would recommend it.

This is a very nice kit for a beginner, or anyone wanting to polish their basic embroidery skills. The designs are cute, and everything is there for you. I don't think the needles are the greatest, but they will work if you don't have anything else. The scissors will cut, and are probably good for children, since they're blunt, but real embroidery scissors are extremely pointed and sharp, for close cutting. As a beginner kit, this is just quite nice.
