Simple lens cap replacements with one annoying feature

I think these are great replacements. Some of my lenses have caps that cost $30-$50 a cap. These not only fit snuggly, but they mask the brand of your lens and make you more invisible when shooting street photography. My only gripe is very minor, but I hate that there is a hole through the cap for lanyards I'll never use.

These work just as well as the original and I love the cap keeper cord! It makes it so much easier to keep up with my lens cap.

Fits pretty universally

The lanyards are a nice touch so you don't lose your caps, but I don't use them. The caps fit my regular lens I use on my sigma lens

I have been stressing out for a long time now about not having covers for all my lenses. Luckily I came across this and now Ive got that problem solved. I buy vintage lenses sometimes from like eBay or Goodwill online but they dont always come with lens covers. So its great to have a product like this where you can, buy it and it comes in a multi pack so you know you can have your lenses protected its easy to apply and it stays on and it fits

At the price that is less than ten bucks, I am giving it a 5 star. I don't think you can ask for more - you're getting 2 caps that includes 2 microfibre cloths, and a little holder. I ordered these simple for back up since if I lose my originals (which I did), I already have a back up ready. Performance wise, they are not as good as the originals. The spring is I believe is probably plastic, so its not as strong as the OEM's. See pictures. As you can see, it tapers off. Perhaps the designers thing this is desired to have a rounded corner, but for me, its actually not something that I welcome since it means I don't get a firm grip with I open / depress the spring to open. Howeve, when you pinch it in the middle, it is OK. The patterning on the cap itself is a bit too smooth for my taste as it can be slippery. As you can see there's tiny hole to thread the strap. I probably won't use it eventhough it is meant to keep you from losing the cap. Its a nice bright orange contrast color. As I said, these are great for backups at the price, and there's absolutely nothing wrong to have them as replacement. They are afterall, a quarter the price of the OEM, and plus the strap and microfibre lens cloth. I just cannot find something to ding - it is decent quality, not reflecting the price.
