Kailh 1350 Chocolate Red Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard Switches,Linear RGB/SMD Switch(10pcs,Choc Red)...

Small sample pack for Kalih Choc Brown switches, nicely organized and packaged inside of a paper box with no problems. The switches, however, are pretty bad because the tactility is not noticeable at all. It just feels like a scratchy Choc Red switch. I do not recommend this variant if you're aiming for any tactility.

I was going to try this on my Haute42 HitBox style controller that uses MX low profile switches that I can swap around. They fit in there fine, but I didn't realize the keycap wouldn't fit these switches. They feel fine from what I can tell, and for less than 10 bucks to try em out, it isn't a huge loss. If these fit your keycaps, they might be pretty good for you.

I built a mechanical keyboard last year and I was having issues lately with two of the switches I bought when I built it, so I picked these up to replace those and have some spares in the future. These look almost identical to the originals and installed perfectly, and have the same tactile feel and sound as the last ones (also the brown low profiles). Great price for switches to have on hand for such purposes. I will come back and update this review if they have any issues in the next year or so, but so far so good.

The tactile bump and actuation force on these feels pretty similar to the low profile Gateron browns, which is to say, a pretty light bump and medium actuation force. Some of my low profile Gateron browns have springs that squeak on the down stroke, and I haven't noticed that on these Kailh ones so far, which is good. However, I've noticed some ping noise on the springs on the upstroke, so a star off for that.

The switches don't feel smooth and spring ping and scratch is audible when pushing them. The tactility is of course very weak since it is a brown switch.
