These come with the tubes empty and foil pouches of the spices labeled to place in each one. So far, I'm not a fan of the tubes. They are easy to open, but difficult to line up and close. With each use, I feel like they get trickier to get on right and it's not something I want to mess with when I have foody hands trying to cook in the kitchen. I'd have rather the tubes not be included at all to save the paper and put the spice pouches in my own bottles that I reuse. I've had an opportunity to use all of the flavors and enjoy them all, but the honey mustard is probably my favorite. These are great for sheet pan meals of chicken and potatoes and you can easily do multiple flavors. I look forward to grilling with them as well. The nacho and buffalo ones have a bit of heat to add to the flavor, but aren't overwhelmingly hot. The nacho one also makes a tasty dip or topping mixed into some sour cream, I bet it would also make a good cheeseball. The seasonings are great and all flavors we regularly cook with and enjoy, but I don't like the cardboard storage tubes.

When you first open the package your going to notice that he spice is not inside the containers.. Each spice is separated into 3 different foil bags in which you will need to place into each canister. Some of the foil containers are going to have more spice than others from what I have found. A good rule of thumb is to attempt to shake the spice down a bit so you are able to continue adding it. One thing I was not too pleased with is that there is no sifter that comes with this packaging so you will need to use a spoon or measuring equipment of your choice. All of the spices I have tried here have been good for their own purposes and couldn't find any real issue with them.

First, these spices taste fantastic! Awesome flavors from all three. The ingredients could be a bit better, especially the use of artificial dyes. My biggest gripe is that they boast using an eco-friendly package, but then the spices are in foil baggies. The amounts in the bags are more than what will fit in the tubes, which seems nice, but then I'm storing all three tubes in the original container, and it takes up an obnoxious amount of space in our spice cabinet. I am also not a huge fan of the tubes. There is no sprinkle option; it's just an open top. So this made it a bit of an act to not pour out too much (as shown on our frozen tots). Bummer, because I love the idea of it being an eco option! I plan to transfer these over to glass spice bottles.

This box of Kamenstein Kraft Paper Spice Tube Set came intact and sealed. The foil packets of spices do not fit into the tubes unless being dumped in. That will make the spices less likely to stay fresh. Tried to put the packets inside the tubes but wont fit. Spices are used for many months/years and these tubes will not serve that purpose. The spices themselves are a bit salty but have a good flavor. These flavors will put a different spin on ordinary dishes. For now the spices are in zip lock bags and then in containers. Do not have extra bottles to put them in for now. Looks like a great idea but just a bit of a miss.

This is a review for the Mediterranean mix of spices. This pack of spices comes with the containers and spices separate. Each spice comes in a foil package, and you pour them into the cardboard containers when you get them. I'm assuming the spices come packaged in a sealed container in order to keep them fresh - which, is essentially saying that they won't stay fresh in the cardboard containers (of course not!). But the spices all have silicone dioxide as an ingredient, that I'm assuming will help them stay fresher longer and keeps them from clumping from being exposed to humidity. The whole thing seems rather silly, Why not just sell them in glass containers which is plenty environmentally friendly, and will keep the spices fresh for a long time?! The containers are flimsy. After a few uses you can see how the top of the container begins to fray. (photo included). The taste of the spices is great, though. The garlic and herb is a standout and is delicious to sprinkle on all sorts of foods. They're very versatile spices and pair with all sorts of preparations. I don't love the silicone dioxide, but I guess there are worse things to put into your food.
