these work amazing on clay.

The texture mat is sturdy. The reason I gave 3 stars is because, for a texture mat, it is very shallow. From the examples in the picture, I expected the mat to be deeper. I should have returned it, but time got away from me. This is one item I can not recommend unless a shallow impression is what you are aiming for. This would have been perfect if only it was just a bit deeper. As for quality, it is made well. The mat itself is very flexible and sturdy, its just the actual design cut that needs improving.

Granted, I don't have a lot of experience with texture mats but I've been struggling with keeping this one from sticking or warping the image. Maybe it's user error so I'm not going to completely blame the product. But the designs are detailed and not very forgiving of a less experienced crafter. I've tried several times and still haven't produced an image I am happy with. The little fall emblems are so cute and I once I get it to work, I think I'll be pretty happy.

This polymer clay texture mat is a nice fall design. It gives the clay a nice texture without a lot of effort. I didn't have to roll my clay too hard to imprint the design and I like that. It did hold onto some of the clay so you will need to use some sort of release on this mat. I like it and I love the design, will be using it a lot!

I had to try these mini designs out. Im happy that the 4 little designs I got are small since most people do like smaller earrings. I tried each design to see how they would look and made a simple piece as a test. I think they came out ok. I didnt put a lot of time into these, just pressed it out and cut then applied some mica powders before baking. My visiting friend saw them and liked them so well she wanted to make one tooher first polymer clay piece. She was delighted that it was a success. The mat worked well for her. Its Works well that there is plenty of space around each design. This way theres no problem with the clay going off the side or into the next pattern when making the print for your earrings or little pendant. The non-stick feature of this mat is so good. No release product is needed to get a clean crisp design pressed into the clay. Its so easy to use the sheet that I will probably make more pieces soon. Toadstool earrings sound appealing. Its been a while since I have done much polymer clay making, and this product is inspiring me to maybe get back into working with clay more often! All in all this company always does good quality products so I knew it would be a nice texture sheet. I wasnt wrong. I do think the price is a little high, but I also understand high quality costs a little more. I think these are worth it.
