What a nice surprise! I have 2 subscriptions but arrived late to the party on flavors. It was out of stock on the website. I will be looking forward to the Autumn months when I am sure they will make more. Having this as a special on ZeeBooth Prime Days with only like 5 left, I scored big time!! Keto Chow, the products and the owners, Chris and Miriam, thrill me with their knowledge regarding my MTHFR gene issue. Their products account for this nutrition and this is special. I will always be a customer. I also like that they are always coming out with new flavors. Since I am mostly Carnivore, this is my only exception, I appreciate "new" things!! Keep up the good work!

So, even after waiting overnight, I didn't think it was thick the way everybody claimed, but it was at least as thick as regular diet shakes. That said, I took a bite, tasted chocolate. Swallowed, suddenly noticed the peanut butter! Honestly, it made me crave peanut butter, but I really liked this one and plan to incorporate into my new, active lifestyle: no breakfast, this for lunch, meat with salad for dinner when I get home. I just got this job. I typically only eat if I get hungry, which is typically 1 to 2 eggs. But I won't have that type of time now, so now I get a delicious treat during the day that I don't have to feel guilty about, and will be able to make it through a very long, 6 straight hours (no break!) day! What a delicious way to control one's hunger!

Now first off, it wasn't bad. The mix and the whole keto chow system is amazing. This flavor just wasn't my favorite. Not sure what I was expecting but it was like having 2 cups of Bailey's. Which, if you love Bailey's, maybe this is for you! But, it mixes well, is super high quality, and ultimately helps me with achieving my keto goals. At the end of the day, they have so many amazing flavors it would almost be impossible to love them all. That being said, maybe using coffee instead of whatever when mixing this one would be better. Hmmm...maybe I need to try this one again!

I was at the point where I was actually thinking this was a scam. I read MANY reviews that said the taste was horrible. And I even read one that called people who dont like the taste tool bags because this is keto and its going to taste salty I have been in Keto for a year and a half. Successfully, I might add. Sugar is my weakness. Heres the thing - there are lots of KETO friendly desserts and breads out there including plenty of sweet tasting things. KETO does NOT have to taste salty. If you think that, youre doing it wrong. I mixed this up and it smelled it - it smelled Like my 6 month old nephews baby formula. Not kind of like it - just like it. Did it taste like it? I dont know because I havent tasted his formula, but I can tell you this tasted like it smelled. I mean it tasted so bad I immediately projected the pseudo-fluid from my mouth. My body sent out signal flairs. I thought Alexa was going to contact the authorities on my behalf. There is no amount of heavy cream, butter or (God forbid) avocado oil (what the actual F?) is going to make this mildly palatable. I dont mean hey we all have different tastes I mean holy abomination that crap isnt even edible. Maybe I got a bad bag? Maybe. Maybe they know that many people on KETO are desperate so they show a big picture of a sugar-loaded dessert milkshake topped with whipped cream and a cookie next to their sack of shame. The two things are not similar. Ok - they both have the name shake At this point milkshakes should sue for use of their namesake and likeness. This stuff is an abomination. Ok - the vanilla is. The best way to make it taste like a vanilla milkshake? Dump it out, wash the cup and then fill that cup with a vanilla milkshake. Shoot - fill it with dirt it will taste better. If you are new to KETO - keep moving, this isnt it.

06/09/2020 Update: 4. Banana 4.5/5 Holy smokes this one is delicious. It's not overpowering with the banana flavor. It seems to get thicker than the other flavors, not sure why, but usually needs a little bit more water added. -.5 since it has a weird metallic aftertaste. 5. Salted Caramel 5/5 This was the first one I tried making with butter and I think it's better this way than using heavy cream. Tastes just like salted caramel shakes you'd get from an ice cream shop, except a little more salty. I like mixing this flavor with banana. 6. Vanilla 3/5 It's just okay. A little bland, but hey that's vanilla. This one wasn't good with butter. It needs the creaminess of heavy cream to be drinkable. I just didn't look forward to it like I did with banana, chocolate peanut butter, and salted caramel. I've never been a huge fan of vanilla protein shakes though, so this is just my preference. 7. Chocolate. 5/5 Great with heavy cream and butter! It's dark and rich and the saltiness of the shake compliments the chocolate flavor. This is one of the best I've tried so far. Original Review: This will be a continuously updated review of keto chow, where I update my experience with the different flavors. I use water and heavy cream with my shakes, so your results my vary if you use avocado oil. I also make sure to always let them sit overnight I. The fridge before drinking them. The flavor changes quite drastically in some cases. 1. Peanut butter chocolate 5/5 This is a good shake and the best I've had so far. Too bad it is higher calories and carbs due to the peanuts. The flavors of this shake are perfectly balanced with each other. I am a lover of peanut butter and if you are too, you will certainly enjoy this shake. 2. Mocha 3/5 This was a forgettable flavor. It wasn't bad, but very meh. Not enough coffee flavor and I thought it had a bit of a medicinal aftertaste. I was hoping it would be similar to a mocha frappucino, but it didn't live up to expectations. 3. Strawberry 4.25/5 I love strawberries and I was looking forward to this shake. I was worried it might have an intense "fake strawberry" taste, but I was pleasantly surprised! The flavor is quite mild and very good with heavy cream. I would describe it like vanilla with strawberry flavor added. The reason I took away . 75 from the rating is that this one does NOT taste good when you first mix it. It's very salty has the same medicinal taste as the mocha, but that completely goes away after a few hours.
