I use this twice a day and it seems to have helped a lot with my digestive issues. My complaints and the reason for 4 instead of 5 is first the packaging stinks. It's really hard to get the scoop out and at the beginning I can't store the scoop in the jar. I have to use most of the jar before there is enough room to store the scoop. My second complaint is this product is very sensitive to picking up moisture and this degrades it's performance. I live an area that is prone to high humidity and I notice the product tends to clump and the performance goes down.

Good product but might help wrong bacteria grow

After being treated for SIBO (which destroyed my gut), I've had leaky gut/brain for the past year. It has improved (can tolerate more), and I'm lactose tolerant again, but there are still some foods and supplements I cannot tolerate. Inulin-FOS is one so I wanted to try this to see if inulin without the FOS also bothered me. Luckily, I can tolerate the Inulin without the FOS, but unfortunately, it is feeding some weight gaining bacteria as I have gained weight on it (another consequence of the SIBO protocol and then trying to repopulate my gut with probiotics afterward). I've quit taking it and my weight is trending back down. I think this is a good probiotic, but for my gut microbiome composition, it's feeding the wrong bacteria. Depending on your bacterial ecosystem in your gut, you may not (or may) experience the same.

I was having such abnormal bowel movements that I was about to go to the doctor as I thought something was really wrong. I was taking my multi-strain probiotic and things were still very off and irregular. Nothing in my cabinet seemed to help. My friend suggested I try a prebiotic and I had never heard of them.
