However, the tripod is compact and handy, if short. I use the phone mount and the remote lots, and they work great.

Small and compact. Can be used as a handle, extend to take a selfie or use as a tripod. As a handle it extends from 8" to 18" and as a tripod it extends from 6" to 16.5". It can used with a sports camera, cell phone, compact digital camera, camcorder and DLSR cameras, with use of the provided mounting adapters. It is rather sturdy and well built, should provide years of use. Price wise you can't go wrong. I would recommend.

Nice little tripod that has a telescoping rod that extends from the leg portion (which makes a nice handle when folded) to make a selfie stick. Always wondered how people actually clicked the shutter but now I know. There's a Bluetooth fob that comes with the package that you press to release the shutter on your phone (see pictures). I can see myself using the tripod for static macro photos, and the rod extension to create different heights and angles for photography, but I doubt I'll be selfying much. :) But don't let me stop you guys!

With the variety of head attachments, this will work with a DSLR, a phone, or an action camera. We use the DJI Pocket camera as well as the DJI Action and both attach easily. Our iPhone 15 Pro Max also works with it. The remote control is a huge bonus. It also has a cold shoe so you can add a light or microphone.I wish it came with a carry case or bag for all of the attachments. If you have a lot of equipment, it's easy to get parts mixed up, and this is one of those tools where you need everything together. That would be my only suggestion.

First thing of note. The light attached to the side does not come with it. I left it there to show an attachment on the stand. You have the option of using the stand as either a stand or as a selfie stick. The legs fold to make the handle, and you just pull to extend the stand. The folded handle is of a decent size and feels good in my hand. The stand is noticeably light weight but feels sturdy, and the piece that holds my phone feels secure. The phone holder has a slight edge so it might hold even better if I had my phone in a case, but I wasn't worried about my phone falling out as it was. The little shutter remote paired easily with my phone, and I was able to use it to snap the pictures. There was no need, at least for me, to download any additional app to get it to work. This is going to work perfectly for my uses, and I'm quite sure it will work for yours as well.
