Great switches

I used them in a keyboard switch arcade pad and they work perfectly. They feel great to use, love the feel. Sounds really good too. Every switch I used worked no problem. I didn't get to use them all though, but I feel like the ones I got were all properly made. Highly recommend.

Smooth and thocky linear switches

These Jade Yellow Pro switches from Gateron are some of the nice stock switches out there that I have tried. They come very nicely lubricated from the factory, giving each keypress that nice silky feeling that is unique to Gateron's Milky Yellow switch offerings, and the sound is very muted yet thocky which is very nice. They aren't silent switches, but they are quite quiet regardless and overall, I am very happy with them. I did notice that the green tint does affect RGB lighting though, but I don't mind personally though but if you do use RGB, make sure to keep that in mind.

Good sound.

These switches have a nice creamy thock. I would say the sound level is about medium. The factory lubing feels very smooth to me. I installed them in a barebones kit alongside some basic white switches for comparison. The jades have a little weightier action to them than the whites do. I think for the price they're really nice switches. They have a similar sound to the keyboards I remember using as a kid in the 80s.

Nice alternative to Oil Kings

The media could not be loaded. I like these kutethy x Gateron Jade switches. They are a medium weight, factory-lubed linear switch. I dont see anything incredibly novel in these switches, but they seem well-constructed like other Gateron switches Ive tried. They lean toward the thocky end of the spectrum. They have a softer, more muted sound than clackier options like the Gateron CM or even a standard Gateron Red. The bottom out has a dull thud sound and the top out a sharper clack sound. To my ear, they actually sound identical to Oil Kings. The rebound is plenty lively. I really like the colorway. The backlight window and translucent upper housing let some light through, but I prefer switches with a dedicated light diffuser. There is not much stem wobble. A few switches in my set sounded noticeably scratchier than the rest. Maybe the factory lubing could be more consistent. But if its done right, these switches are very smooth. At $0.47 per switch at time of writing for the set of 72 pieces, these switches are priced similarly to many other Gateron offerings. They are not too expensive and I would consider them a decent value. I would recommend these switches to anyone looking to build a keyboard with Oil Kings but doesnt want to pay the premium that they command. The fact that these Jades dont block as much light as Oil Kings do is an added bonus for RGB users. In the video, I compare these kutethy Gateron Jades (top) to Gateron Oil Kings (middle) and WS Morandis (bottom). The keyboard is an entry-level, gasket mounted board with foam layers inside.
