I got these for work, where my workspace is next to a communal gathering area that occasionally gets rowdy with the chatter of coworkers on break. Easy to use 10/10. It synced so easily with my laptop. Turning on/off is just press and hold. The volume controls are also the skip/back buttons. The volume is a single press, and it's a long press for skip/back - which is great as I don't need or want super loud headphones so I can turn down the default setting and then forget about it as I can control additional volume and song skips via my keyboard (or phone, if I'm using that). Comfort is 10/10. I have pierced ears and wear glasses and there's no issue of pushing earring backs into my head or squeezing my glasses frames into my head and giving me a headache. They're very solidly built and once you're wearing them you don't notice the weight that comes with well built items. Sounds for me is 10/10. I don't have the $500 pairs to compare to, but as my music has always sounded good to me - do I need to compare? I'm not an audiologist, I'm just a regular schmuck trying to focus at work. Battery life is 100/10. It was 100% charged when it arrived. I listened to music for 8 hours and still had 90% battery life. I haven't really used the actual noise cancelling feature because I haven't found I needed it. The fit/design of the headphones alone drops the noise level enough for me that with my music playing I can tune out anything else and just focus. These were such a great value that I bought my sister a pair as a gift.

The noise canceling is surprisingly good. The sound quality is good too. The battery life might surprise some but I use mine all day so I need to recharge it every evening. If you don't need to use them all day then the battery life will be good for you.

im a behavioral therapist at a school and the kids drive me nuts.... i decided to get noise canceling headphones for this reason as well as i just dont like the way earbuds feel. i absolutely love these things and for the price you CAN NOT beat it!! i will be recommending these to all my friends :)

Awesome headphones, sound quality is so good, music sounds great. So easy to use, right and left marked, very comfortable. I wish I bought these back when I was transcribing! Operating range long. Price affordable!

I just got these today but thought I would provide my first impression of them. I wasn't really expecting much for a $20 pair of noise cancelling headphones. So, I was pleasantly surprised. I work in an open-office flex-desk environment, and I wanted an inexpensive set of headphones to carry in my backpack. I mostly listen to audiobooks or some other type of spoken word recordings because I can't listen to music while I work, and I need to listen to something to avoid the distraction of all of the other noise in the office. So, I don't need a high-quality set of headphones like the ones I use when listening to music. The sound quality of these headphones is more than adequate for my purpose, but maybe not for when I want to relax and listen to music at home. So, sound quality was the first pleasant surprise. The second is how comfortable these were right out of the box. The padding is sufficiently soft, and the cups fit my ears properly. Also, unlike other headphones I've purchased, they aren't too tight. I've had to wear other headphones for several days before they loosened up enough to be comfortable. These were comfortable right out of the box. As I said above, I just got these today. So, my opinion may change in the future, but for now, I am happy with them.
