This spool of brass chain is a very nice gold tone. I'm not happy with any of the electroplated copper chain or findings because the electroplating is so thin that the items are not gold, but a horrible orange color that isn't standardized, and will not match any other findings. It's frustrating. I've started looking for any sign that something is made of copper or an unknown metal when I am looking for a gold finish. Brass and stainless steel is helpful for craft jewelry making. This chain is nice, strong, pretty and can be used for a number of things. I love the chain dangle earrings, minimalist style and like to make them as a craft hobby. Finding various chains that will work for this project is fun. The spool has a little over 5 meters of chain. The links are easy to cut with a quality wire cutter. It's a great value for brass. 5 stars

It is strong enough to hang light weight items on but delicate enough to not interfere with your crafting. The wind chimes I got did not hold up in a terrible wind storm we recently had so I replaced the broken cording with this product. So pretty and durable now. Just be aware that working with this craft item you can get tangled up, as with any craft item, that has links or corners. Make sure the strands don't get crossed or connect near the other strands. Sturdy product that shines and shimmers! NICE!!

Beautiful oval link chain

This 18k gold plate over brass chain is so lovely and looks expensive. The oval chain links are a really nice size. The larger links are 8mm long and 5.5mm wide, and the smaller links are 3.8mm wide and 5mm long. This chain is lightweight, and comes in a 5 meter roll. Also included are 20 jump rings and 10 lobster claw clasps so you can start making jewelry as soon as your chain is delivered. This chain is a beautiful color and will make very pretty necklaces and bracelets. It looks so elegant. I cant wait to get started!

Really Pretty and Unique Looking Chain

I really like this 8mm Circle Link Chain. It is a really pretty gold tone. It comes with some matching jump rings and lobster claw clasps. the circles are nice and uniform. They are closed circle rings so you can not open the circle links. The connectors are 3 shaped quick connector link types of connectors and I am a fan of those types of connectors and together with the circles it makes for a really unique and cool look! The chain is plate brass and it is strong enough to hold up good for making jewelry. I am really happy with this spool of chain.

Jump rings too Big

Gorgeous and delicate chain, I was so happy when I saw it! But when I saw the jump rings I knew theyd be too big. couldnt get them on Im going to have to purchase thinner jump rings in order to even use this chain. Also 14 clasps were stuck. I had to put one side of my pliers on the lever and the other side on the end for leverage as I used the pliers to open them.. even after springing them a few times they were still a little stiff.
