This is a typical Chinese paint by number set. They all come with the same materials, made in the same factory, packaged in the same way. For example it comes with two hooks and screws, even though it does not have a frame to screw them into. I take issue with the second product photo that says and shows that the canvas is printed in color to show an added level of clarity as to what sections are what color. However in reality the canvas is the typical black and white, no color to it at all. The image is generated from a photograph, but there was not a lot of effort made into editing the resulting image to ensure the numbers are clearly printed, not touching lines, and none are missing. I've attached some photo examples where the number is printed over top of lines, or areas where one section is pinched off from another, but only one of the areas has the color number printed. Another issue is the canvas is packed folded up, so there are several crease lines that do not easily flatten out. Otherwise, the paintbrushes are adequate for the job, however you'll likely not find a use for the flat brush as it is far too large. The paints were fresh, come vacuum packed, and in sufficient quantity. It will occupy you for a couple dozen hours. It is not a standard size, so if you want to frame it you'd be looking at a custom frame (very expensive).

I purchased this paint by number based on the picture even though there are very few reviews, since I'm always looking for something a little different than the usual pictures, painted by lots of people. I've painted over 80 paint by number projects -- some I have kept and many I have given away -- and for me, this one is a 'keeper.' It looks like the sort of place anyone would like to go on vacation, which is sort of the point. My grandson, who likes to check out my most recent projects, observed "there is nothing about that picture that I don't love." The paints were fresh and went on nicely. The only problem I had is one that I have frequently encountered -- the canvas is sort of skimpy and barely extends beyond the edge of the picture, making it difficult to attach to a canvas stretcher or to mount. I ended up having to glue the edges to a blank canvas.
