I got this for my dog because typically, no matter what it is, he can chew through it in a matter of minutes. Luckily though, he has yet to completely destroy this toy! He really enjoys for a good chew and the pieces dont just come apart like other toys. I heavily recommend this for your dog if he likes to chew through other toys in a breeze.

My lab LOVED this toy! He always chewed on this one. I bought it in March, so the toy lasted for about a month. That might not seem like a long time, but he chewed on it for hours each day, so i thought the fact that it lasted a month was pretty good considering most of his toys are destroyed in hours. So I gave it four stars because he did eventually chew through it, but I also still gave it four stars because it lasted a month and he's a very aggressive chewer. I'd get this again.

This is the second time Ive gotten one of these chews. As a person who works in the pet industry, I was skeptical at first because I had some concerns for safety. I would hate to give my dogs a toy I know wasnt safe based on my industrys standards!! But I am definitely giving this product 5 STARS!! And heres why It is hard and at first I was concerned about my dogs breaking their teeth, or shredding their gums because of chewing spiky jagged edges into their toys. I was also concerned about big chunks being broken off and then creating a choking hazard. But this toy has almost eased all of my worries. ALMOST. Nylon is essentially a chunk of plastic. This product isnt like that. It is hard enough for them to need to chew for a while before making a dent in it. But its safe because it crumbles. It doesnt break in large chunks or splinter. Its like their teeth just grind tiny crumb/sand-like pieces away from the toy. It also doesnt have that shiny plastic feel that many dog toys have. It feels like its made of a different material that I actually prefer. I am happy to have a long lasting toy that can stand up to a super chewer for more than 15 minutes, without posing danger to my dog. Now earlier, I said it ALMOST eased all of my worries. And that is because, in reality, this is still a hard toy, and it still poses the same typical risks of tooth breakage that all hard dog toys have. But regardless, Im keeping it. Everything comes with their own risks. And after mitigating and measuring out the pros vs the cons, I can say that I am happy with this product 100%. (PS. My dogs found out the middle part squeaks. They havent broken it yet, and I cant even squeeze the squeaker with my own hand. So yes.. it works!!

I have a dog that is an aggressive chewer, so I look for things he can chew that will last more than an hour. This one delivers in that department. My only complaint is that it's pretty heavy. I'd love to be able to play fetch with it, but it's just too heavy. I think it would damage the floor (unless you have carpet). But overall, I would recommend it.

The listing is accurate on it being for large and aggressive chewers. Both our dogs are over 80lbs and shred nearly everything that isnt bamboo or nylon. Not many nylon toys have a rubber section to them, I was worried about that immediately coming off. But I was wrong, its been 3 weeks now and the rubber middle is still fully intact. The hard nylon ends definitely have wear but no more than I would expect from this material. Once it gets fully destroyed or lost, I will buy again.
