Great all purpose travel sewing kit

I have not had a chance to use this kit yet but I am very impressed with the contents and the clever case itself. I really like that it has a "package" of needles to choose from. This wheel shaped package is just like the wheel shaped package you buy needles from in a store. The only thing that was missing for me was a seam ripper. I had an extra that I was able to fit into the case so now this kit has it all.

Poor Quality

Unfortunately, I think youre better off just going to the store and buying some thread and needles and a little box. The needles snapped in half and the yarn is very lumpy. The scissors dont even work the blades are too far apart to even cut thread. Unfortunately, I wish I could give it less stars.

Everything I wanted!

I have some upcoming travel plans and wanted a nice sewing kit to put in my luggage. This one has everything I could possibly need. A handy pair of snips, plenty of needles, and a threader are included. I was impressed with all the bobbins of thread in many colors -- when they become empty it will be easy to wind more thread on them using my sewing machine! The 2-layer design is a clever way to hold everything -- last travel sewing kit I should ever have to buy. Definitely recommend.

decent portable travel sewing kit

This is a relatively small sewing kit that contains the following: - scissors - cutoff thimble (not full sized) - measuring tape - needle threader - 16 thread-filled bobbins - 30 assorted needles in a nice round disk - metal knob to put your pin(s)/needle(s) on - separator tray I wish that they included safety pins or other pins, but I can certainly add my own. There's room to put those in the bottom with the bobbins. I took a bunch of pix of the pink one. The tray is slightly a different color than the rest of the container. Even though some of the pix make it look like the container is light pink, that is only because I used a flash on those pix. The more realistic color is the other pix. I noticed that if you don't nestle the removable tray correctly, you won't be able to close the container completely. All-in-all, this kit will work well and will be easy to slip into my luggage and/or purse. Great compact sewing kit

I really like this sewing kit holder. It is sturdy and functions as advertised. I have not traveled with, but I dont see any issues yet. I would repurchase it as a gift for someone.
