Sheets are my favorite laundry innovation. Goodbye, powders and pods, it's sheets for me from here on out! Just tear up the sheet(s) and place in the detergent tray of your washing machine. Ignore the product photos showing two sheets going into the drum. They dissolve completely. Sheets are perforated, so you can use half for smaller loads. I use one full sheet per load in my front-loader. Don't overdo it, trust the product. Too much detergent is hard on your clothes and the washer. We don't get our clothing very dirty, and we're not dealing with tough stains. Once in a while, I add a bit of color-safe detergent to brighten up my clothes. Pit stains are a problem since I switched to environmentally-friendly anti-perspirant. I will be switching back as soon as I use up my supply, but meanwhile I've found the occasional use of a little bleach works fine. The scent of this product is fairly strong in the box but not a problem on clothes. My sensitive nose doesn't mind it. There is no residue, unlike pods which occasionally don't dissolve all the way in cold water. This product is value priced, easy to store, and good for the environment. I approve!

Simple to use, doesn't take up much space.

I am new to using laundry detergent sheets and, after trying these, I have to admit that I love them! There is nothing to dislike about these eco-friendly lavender scented detergent sheets. They smell great, they are small in size so they don't take up much space in the laundry room, and they are perforated in the middle so that you can use either a full sheet or a half sheet depending on the size of the load that you want to wash. I have used these detergent sheets for clothing and for bed linen thus far and I have had no issues. Laundry that I have washed using these detergent sheets has a faint lavender smell when I take it out of the dryer. I am a big fan of these lavender scented eco-friendly detergent sheets so I think that they deserve five stars.

Laundry sheets, who knew?!

I had never heard of laundry sheets, decided to give them a try. I have a high efficiency top loading washing machine. There is a drawer I pull out to add liquid detergent. I decided the sheet would go in the tub with the clothes. The back of the box contains much info which is not included in the listing. The listing suggests a half sheet per load. The back of the box states 1 sheet for 6 to 8 items of clothing. 2 sheets for larger loads. I don't do small loads like that. Especially on vacation, I don't want to spend hours at the laundromat. This makes these much more expensive that the listing suggests. There is a mild lavender scent which does not last and did not bother me.

Zinshine Lavender Laundry Detergent Sheets

These laundry detergent sheets were a first for me . I am so glad I am able to test these . I have a never HE front loader washer and have been using pods and liquid detergent prior. When these two packs of 40 sheets each arrived I was able to smell the lavender scent through the package . It is pleasant and not fake smelling or overpowering to me . I read the instructions and started with a cold load of delicates in mesh bags. I took a whole sheet and watched it dissolve quickly. It got everything clean and left a hint of lavender I was able to smell as I transferred the load in the dryer. Impressive. Next came a load of towels , I took another sheet and broke one in half ( they are seared in the middle for easy breaking and my load was about 5 big bath towels. They too came out clean and fresh. These so called sheets feel more like a thin cut piece of soft paper for lack of a better word. They break easily into halves , quarters etc. This is especially nice when I need to do a hand wash in the sink, a quarter of a sheet dissolved in lukewarm water made that a breeze . I love the idea behind these , so easy to handle and no more having to carry heavy bottles around, no mess , there is no plastic waste . I hope these kind of detergent delivery will be the future sooner than later. These also say on the packaging the sheets have no dyes, are plant/ bio based and hypoallergenic . I can not really tell yet how many loads I will get out of the 80 sheets because everyone washes their clothes differently . I believe that 2 sheets are enough for larger items such as bedding and also for heavier stained items . I have not encountered a problem with the sheets not dissolving in cold water wash . I am very happy with the performance, scent and even happier to be able to cut out the plastic waste.
