Great Toy for Fine Motor Skills

I bought this toy for my son when he was about 9 months old, and he still plays with it now at 2.5. It is nice and colorful, and definitely helped him with his fine motor skills. He had trouble getting the quills into the holes at first. It has provided hours of entertainment. We did lose some quills, and he was very upset. So, I ended up buying a second one to replace it. The quills fit inside the toy when not in use. So, it is fairly easy to keep them together if you are intentional about cleaning it up when they are done playing.

Cute. It comes with a book also. The spikes have indents for little hands to hold on to and easily determine the correct side to put in the hedgehog.

I absolutely love this little guy. He is so cute and super helpful. My son has been playing with it for about 30 minutes now. The shapes are silicone type, I don't know if silicone is the right word. They are not plastic which I love. If my son decides to throw the shapes they won't hurt anyone or anything

Great toy for a taby

I got this for my 9 month old for Christmas, and its going to be a wonderful toy for this taby: toddler/baby. Those months when they are curious and destructive and want to tear all the books off the shelves and dump out every bin. This toy lets him pull out all the little pieces of fabric and keeps him entertained and NOT tearing up the living room. Well, okay, to be honest, he still goes on to tear books off the shelves and dump bins. But this is a great, entertaining toy. My older kids (3 and 5) love it too! Its small enough to take on the go too, which is an added bonus.
