This light up collar is perfect to your black dog at night- lol. I have a puppy and it was hard for me to see here at night when I took her out to go to potty. She doesnt seem to mind it being on either because it so light weight. And it should last a long time bc its has a rechargeable USP outlet & comes with the cord! Worth the price!!

Perfect for Night!

This collar can be cut to fit exactly how you need it for your pet. We purchased pink and love the different flash settings as they are supposed to be a deterrent to coyotes (we live in the country). It doesn't get hot or bother our little lady when she has it on. You get a charging cord with it and it charges very quickly. Great buy!

Was a cool lighted necklace until...

The band came out of the connector and fell off. If I get another I'll glue gun it in place. Because the connectors are cheap. But it's a great light that you can cut to size.

Must have got a dud... UPDATED

This is the second one of these that I've ordered. I had the first one for several years before the battery finally stop holding a charge. So I ordered a replacement from the same seller. This one must be a dud because after 2 months the power button stopped working. It will charge but you can't turn it on. When you can turn it on, you can't turn it off until it goes dead. I'm past the return window so I guess I'm stuck. When it works, it works great. It's bright and the battery lasts a long time between charges. Too bad this one is a dud. Update - the seller refunded my money. I've already ordered a replacement from the same seller.

Works as needed

I have property and often let my dog run free on walks. If he sees deer he will chase them and had concerns that he could run toward the public road. The collar is bright and easy to see for any approaching driver. Also, its easier to see him in the fields and woods at twilight or night. Holds a charge well and doesnt seem to need recharging more than every couple of weeks. Pretty much use it every night for twenty minutes or so. Easy to size for your dog. I just slip it on and off easily and my dog gets very excited when he sees me grab it because he knows we are going on a walk.
