I'm not left-handed but often need to navigate the mouse with my left hand when working and this is the perfect solution. The primary and "right-click" buttons are inverted as they should be, so they still correspond to the same fingers as they should. Scroll button works as it should, as well. In terms of size and shape, it is exactly the same as the common right-handed version of these types of ergonomic mice. I don't know which manufacturer originally came up with it but practically everyone sells a nearly identical one, I first got an Anker one years ago. This mouse has been just as good in performance. The transmitter will take up a USB port, of course, so keep that in mind. More importantly, if you're like me and are confused as to how to connect this when you first get it because it isn't showing up in your bluetooth devices and you don't see a transmitter in the package... IT IS IN A COMPARTMENT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUSE!! While it only took me a few minutes to figure that out, I still feel like it was hilariously too long. I saw at least one other reviewer bemoan the fact that there was no transmitter and so it was faulty, so it could be worse, lol. Back to the performance, there is a DPI adjustment button at the top (not labeled, so this also took me too long to figure out) that does a decent job of adjusting to various rates. This isn't a performance or gaming mouse, so don't expect that level of precision or adjustability.

What a great find!!! Being a lefty we find it difficult finding items especially designed for us. This is one of those finds that makes surfing the net much easier and more comfortable. I know that a regular mouse can be used by both left and right handed people as they can be programmed for the click switches to be reversed. But since it is shared with my right handed wife, it can't do that. Since I wanted a new mouse and this was available I decided to place the order. I now have my own mouse and the wife has hers. This is so comfortable to use because you just lay your hand as you naturally would on the desk and the mouse fits right in. I did find it a little difficult to remember to use my index finger for the select button and not my middle finger. There are the two select buttons on the top side with the scrolling wheel between them. On the back side are 2 buttons for "next page and last page". I tend not to use these as they are awkward to use. Easier to just go up to the upper left and select it there. Made of quality materials with that rubberized feel to it. The buttons respond quickly and easily. It uses 2 AAA batteries, supplied. The unit will go into sleep mode so there is no need to turn it off when not in constant use, although, they suggest turning it off when it will not be used for a long period of time. There is a steady flashing red light on the underside and a stripe on the thumb side that light up when active. I am very pleased with this mouse and, hopefully, it will last for a long time.

I got the pink left-handed mouse. It's pretty neat and novel to me. I'm not sure what to think about it really. I am not crazy about the fact that it's side-ways. The buttons feel awkward, although this could be because I am not used to having a left-handed mouse, I feel like it's because a side-ways mouse is awkward and the buttons are difficult to reach, especially due to the size of the mouse. I have to hold my hand in a weird position to use all of the functions. It will take a while to get familiar with where all of the buttons on it are, but I have managed to copy and paste using it, and do most of the things I could do with a regular mouse. I love the shade of pink. I feel like if it were smaller it might be much better. I do have small hands so this may be some of the issue, but it being pink is marketed mainly to Women I would imagine, so it should be smaller than it is. It's cute, and a cool thing to try but I'm not so sure I would want to use it all of the time. Maybe just when my right hand is tired from using my normal mouse all of the time. I do however appreciate the effort that's gone into making something that left-handed people need, and therefore will give this 4 stars because it is a good product that works and is cute. I think that if it were smaller it would be better, or if you have bigger hands than I do it would be better suited for you.

While this mouse design takes some getting used to, it genuinely puts your wrist in a super comfortable position that is much more ergonomic than the classic mouse. And now southpaws can enjoy it, too! The mouse comes with a USB dongle that fits into a slot just under the battery compartment for storage when not in use. The connection between the mouse and dongle is immediate and works across Windows, Mac, and Linux installations without a problem. It comes with batteries as well, so it's ready to go out of the box. After that, it's just a great mouse. The shape is comfortable and ergonomic, the teflon pads glide smoothly on the desktop, and it has yet to ever drop its connection. It saves battery power by switching itself off when not in use, but just one click and it snaps back to life, ready to use. We only have one southpaw in the house at the computer, but now with this wireless mouse, we can have a mouse ready for anyone.

I am left handed and have always hated adapting to a right handed world. As I have been using mice driven computers for about 40 years, I have learned to use my right hand. In fact, I have found it difficult to use this mouse from Urby. I have had to change the set up in my office. I did not realize how important the mouse placement is on your desk. Funny, but if I decide to use my left handed mouse, I will need to move my large monitor and all of the stuff I keep on my desk. This mouse if very comfortable to hold. It is organized vertically and once you get used to the feel, you will like it. For me, the hardest thing to get used to is reversing the functions of my two buttons. The right handed feel is so ingrained in me. I am still running both mice and will need to make up my mind as to which is easier for me to use.
