Dead Ringer for Morton's Discontinued Seasonin

Ever since Morton's stopped producing their 'Meatloaf and Sausage Seasoning' I have searched for a product that produced the same taste and flavor in my homemade sausage...THIS IS IT! It is as close as you can possibly come to the original Morton's taste. Finally, after trying several brands of seasoning that I was ASSURED was the same as Morton's I have found it at last. I use a little more of the seasoning mix than the back of the packaging says; more like 'well seasoned' rather than 'mild seasoned' sausage and I have not been disappointed in the taste and flavor of the final sausage product (either bulk or stuffed into casings). It is the best I have found and I'm buying more before everybody else discovers how good it really is! Added Comment: Read the back of the package: Well Seasoned Sausage is 6oz/18#s of meat. One package will season more than 5#s of meat for sure. If you put the entire package in 5#s of meat you would not be able to eat the finished product it would be way too spicy! I agree that the add is wrong but you need to read the back to figure out how much you need to use.

What a ripoff! Advertising 5 pounds when it is actually 6 oz.!

Quantity misleading

Ad says 5 lbs. Assumed with almost $12 it would have been more than 6 oz! It seasons up to 5 lbs. Very misleading. Returning it tomorrow! Over priced!
