Great mold. But was a little smaller then what I thought. It did pour very nicely.

These molds have quite a bit going for them. The level of detail is good, they work well with both UV and epoxy resin, and they're easy to demold. I've gotten several cute pairs of earrings out of the wing mold and the butterfly mold has had some gorgeous results. That said, there is some room for improvement. Some of the findings came with stones missing from them and the jump rings are just barely big enough. And almost none of the butterflies have holes built into the mold, so to make any kind of jewelry out of them you'd have to drill your own. Overall though it's still a really nice set of molds even with its drawbacks. First of all, I have to say that I have purchased several products at full price from Lets Resin and I have always been super satisfied with their products. My friend who is a professional resin artist says that their resin and other products are the best and I agree 100%. These earring molds are the perfect size for earrings in that they are a size that is between small and large, basically the same size as real butterflies which is lovely. I put my hand behind the molds so that you could get a better idea of their size although I do have man sized hands - my fingers are very long. The depth is medium. If you want to do 2 layers of resin as I often do, you will have to do a thin first layer to be able to fit your second layer as you can see in the photos. I really appreciate the details in the veins of the butterfly wings so I tried to highlight them in the photos for you. As far as the neediness of them, I show you in the photo that you can bend them a lot. However, compared to other earring molds, they are on the harder side. I dont believe that there will be an issue removing resin earrings. However, it is important to mention this in case it is of interest to you. I was impressed that it actually includes a beginner to resin sheet too! Overall, Im Super Excited to use these Butterfly Molds!

Love these molds. They are great quality. Easy to use. Finished product looks awesome. Even comes with a couple of extra things to make earrings with. They work great with uv resin
