We are not big fans of snakes or anything creepy in this house, but this snake was such a big hit with my entire family!!!! Super cool! I would definitely rebuy/purchase as a gift!

When this arrived I was a little worried. It was so light in weight compared to the ones I had seen at other stores and I was afraid it wouldnt work very well. Boy was I wrong! This is the best remote control snake Ive ever seen! It moves like a snake, traverses different surfaces with ease, and the remote is easy for little kids(even the three year old used it). My four year old grandson loved it!! He said it was the bestest present ever! I will be buying this one again fir one of the other grandkids, they all loved it

I bought this after seeing it (or one like it) on a youtube vid. I have a big black maine coone cat that is scared / fascinated by anything that looks like a snake so I thought it would be fun to chase him with it. In the end he is not particularly scared of this (very surprisingly) - however I am amazed with how cool it is. For a ~20$ toy - the movement is spectacular. I have managed to scare my wife with it. It undulates across the floor magnificently and realisticly. Everyone who's seen it has marvelled at it. The remote works fine although it is IR so you have to point it at the snake to get it to work. I have used it around 5 times and everything still works. I have taken the batteries out after each use of the remote as I don't want to run them down. The snake itself works for a long time on a charge. I have jacked around with it for probably 15 minutes total and the snake is just now needing to be recharged (usb). I have doubts about its longevity but hey - its a 20$ toy :)

The media could not be loaded. 4 stars only because its battery life leaves a little to be desired. It would also be nice if the wheels could go in reverse! But thats just a cosmetic desire. It works just fine without! :) I bought this with low expectations- as in, I expected it to come in like all the horror story reviews. But to my delight- I got the green one I asked for. The batteries DID need to be placed the opposite way than what the directions described (easy fix). I treat it very delicately. I have two cats: Hunter (15yo) and Cecil (11 month old kitten- whos an F7 Bengal mix) but they LOVE snake toys. So I thought- what the heck? Why not? $17 is so cheap for a remote control toy (and I dont make a lot of money tbh). I dont understand why so many people are upset when the Instagram add that had me looking for this toy was trying to sell them for $49 a pop. If you give it to a young child or animal without supervision its DEFINITELY not going to last so dont expect it to. I hold mine like its made of glass lol! But Cecil, my kitten, has taken a few good swings at it and it survived. And thats all I needed it to do! I dont let the battery die simply because I know its probably a low grade one. Im also really careful about putting the charger into the port- since I saw people mention it gets sunk in. But its actually fairly sturdy in that area. I charge it on a timer and as soon as it looks like its slowing down- I charge it (with the switch turned off otherwise it wont charge). Now for people getting damaged items- Im sure theyll give you a refund. Its kind of normal with some sellers to get damaged products. I kept my packaging just in case but at this point I wont see it as a loss if it breaks- if my cats have fun with it while it lasts, thats why I bought it. When it dies, Ill simply remove the wheels and tie a string to it lol We treat it as a special toy- especially for my old senior cat who cant resist standing up and going over to bat it about. Controls: The movement is realistic and fun- you have to make sure the snake sees the tip of the egg or the buttons wont communicate with it. It cant go backward so you gotta be careful not to run into stuff. You press the center button to urge the snake forward and press right or left to swing a turn. You can press the right and left buttons without pressing the center button to inch forward! Hold the right or left button to go in circles. To stop you simply press the center button again! Pretty simple! :) I found this toy to be an exceptional surprise. Practice in an open space- if it runs into something- make it stop and pick it up gently and move it back into an open area to prevent the wheels from breaking. (Hasnt happened to me yet lol) It doesnt work on carpet. Period. Lol doesnt matter how thin it is! Notes: DONT expect this toy to be more than it actually is- its an inexpensive remote control toy snake. Which will very likely breakdown over time! Especially if its played with a lot. It comes with batteries- theyre a lil tricky to get in and out. But if youre patient, youll get them. Charge it on a timer for about an hour with the switch off before turning it on to pair with the remote. The remote will shine red when you press down a button. If you put the batteries in the way the directions asked and it doesnt work, flip them! I play with my cats with it for about 30 minutes- whether it slows down or not I put it on the charger. I expected it to last less than a week with how bad the reviews were. But Im delightedly surprised! :) I feel like this toy could work for older kids or a younger kid if you set some ground rules. Five year olds? Probably best to buy something much cheaper unless you have the time to watch them with it. If its bent the wrong way it will break! Try one of those wooden snake toys theyre always selling at farmers markets, Renaissance Fairs, and festivals! Good luck! :D I hope others have good luck with this toy as I didnt
