This was excellent on the steak that I made tonight. It had a bit of a peppery flavor which made it that much more flavorful.

This is a tasty seasoning. My go to is Mccormick grill mates steak seasoning as it just has a good flavor and consistent blend of spices. But I'm always open to trying new things. This seasoning adds a richness to the meat. I've used it on both steaks and burgers. I highly recommend it as a burger seasoning over a steak one. Strong garlic scent and flavor, but not overpowering. Good pepper hit, but not hot or off putting. And again, that richness in the butter. Just adds some depth to burgers for sure. As for steaks I still prefer a standard salt/pepper and/or steak seasoning with a butter baste while cooking.

This seasoning is a game-changer for anyone who loves to grill. Lillie's Q Steak Butter Seasoning First impressions: Nice shaker bottle full of spices and yellow bits. Installation/setup: Use to season your foods before cooking. Red meat is recommended on the back but I think any meat can be used. Final thoughts: I used this on some pork steaks before throwing them on my propane bbq. The seasoning was very nice and tasted good, making my family even remark how much they liked it. I also used this on some squash and asparagus and it was also tasty. I like this and Im glad I got it. 1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

The taste is fairly buttery although for steaks my practice is to maintain some compound butter in the freezer since this adds the fat flavor as well. I did not note much of a peppery flavor but did pick up a little bit of garlic flavor. A bit more salty than I would have preferred. Since salt is easy to come by and control I prefer less salt in seasoning blends to make the flavor of the other ingredients stand out more. This is a seasoning, not a rub. The label is a bit hard to read as the print is a light yellow but states Do not rub into meat.
