I am retracting my previous review. This is one of the best cat 8 connectors you can buy!

Making the cables up is pretty straightforward. I have tried many other connectors and have found that this is the best. My previous review talked about the cables failing. But after many other connectors being tried, I discovered that the cause of the failures was a broken conductor within a brand new roll of cat 8 wire. So I apologize for my assumption that the failure was due to this connector. Believe me when I say that the competitor connectors are much harder to make. And I have found that this is the best one available.

Well, I only needed one but it came in a pair. Easy to install, clear instructions. It didn't work the 1st time I installed it, I got very upset because something like that happened with a previous one, my cat8 cable was the problem, it was garland wire, I had to get a small blade and strip each wire in each contact section and that made it work. If you have the same problem just mark strip and install. I recommend this product.

Careful with the AWG number

OLD -Pins don't make contact Tried both 568 A and B and the connector doesn't make contact with the cables Updated I reviewed and I made the mistake to purchase this adapter, my cable is 26 AWG and this conector is only compatible with 22 - 24 AWG Overall simple to use, and good instruction set.

My Go-To Jacks for CAT8

These are rugged, easy to punch down and close up with simple tools (I use a cheap coax sheath stripper, a pair of side-shear wire snips, my thumb nail, and a pair of Vise-Grips to fully seat the clam shell to complete these terminations). They fit in standard jack plates and patch panels. My only complaint is the price. I can't wait for the industry to more uniformly adopt the CAT8 standard so that usage volume will go up and prices will come down.
