Unique and Different

This is definitely requires getting use to cooking with. It is a unique product and doesn't substitute 1:1 with regular floor. It is more dense than regular floor and a little more difficult to use. I think in this case practice and experimenting is a must. Though a little pricey I do like the option of a substitute for white flour.

Only used once so far but seems fine. Nice alternative to flour...adds a few more nutrients to my diet.

Best Banana Bread Mix!

I've tried regular banana bread mix not gluten free and those can be dry and bland. This mix makes a moist, dense bread that is so good! I added walnuts and chocolate chips, delicious. I baked it in a loaf pan and in a ninja air fryer oven. I did increase the suggested 28 minutes to more like 35 minutes. This may be due to the oven I used. As always, stick a knife in a couple spots and measure the doneness. I had a gluten free guest come over and she was very impressed with this bread!

Nice taste, good for lots

I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do with this LiveKuna - Orange Sweet Potato Flour when I ordered it, but I love trying tons of new recipes and foods. The powder is a fine grind and is a muted light orange in color. Don't use this to substitute for regular flour. You could use a mixture of the two, but this is more dense than regular flour. I made banana bread using half regular flour and half sweet potato flour and it came out slightly more dense, but extra tasty. I also used some of this in a soup to help thicken it into a stew consistency and it was lovely.

Mediocre Outcome and Too Much Work

I bake frequently, usually from scratch and occasionally using a mix. My family has an easy banana bread recipe. From this mix, I decided to make a loaf. Like other reviewers, I was surprised by the amount of work and additional ingredients required. However, I can see two advantages to this product: (1) It's good for those who want and need gluten-free baked goods. and (2) It provides pre-mixed dry ingredients for those who don't routinely stock flour, sugar, etc. I also like that the list of ingredients is pure -- no unwanted additives. Although I kept the loaf in the oven at the specified temperature long past 28 minutes, despite the pretty photo, the bread was still overly soft, almost mushy. I had expected the top and edges, at least, to get crispy, but it didn't happen. I put the loaf into the refrigerator overnight and that improved the firmness of the bread. However, the top had a slight sheen to it. The slices are still soft but taste decent, nothing special. I don't like this mix enough to use the remaining amount for an additional loaf or muffins. It's not worth the investment of more of my own ingredients or the calories.
