CONSTRUCTION: Rubberized and extra thick carrier material with butyl adhesive for instant bonding and sealing, the butyl adhesive provides great initial adhesion. The film backing is easy to remove and manager, never get stuck with adhesive; the adhesive layer is extremely strong after 24 hours, which might damage the painting and coating on objects that we do not recommend to remove after 24 hours for painted or coated objects.
INSTALLATION: Rub area clean with sponge or cloth aggressively; works better on smooth surface than textured surface; cut the desired size which should be around 1” larger over desired repair area, remove the liner film underneath then; start with one end and press to have a firmed sticking then go along with the remaining application, hold patch in place for at least 2 minutes and tape must make complete contact with surface without wrinkles.
IMPORTANT TIP: Do not use this product for under direct sunshine, the extreme heat from direct sunshine might cause the adhesive melting and the tape slide off from the original spots that cause leaking over time. For the best working performance, it's suggested to be use indoor or outdoor that is not under direct sunshine only.
