I am VERY picky when it comes to pens and these check nearly all of the boxes. The ink is dark black and its a bold line. Writing with them is so smooth. The finish makes holding them more comfortable. Honestly, my only wish would be that they were slightly heavier, but the overall experience is so great that Ill order again! And, theyre a small business!

ONE of these pens didnt work correctly after i had used all of the other pens way too much to send them back for a new product so i directly contacted the company, sent them a picture of the one pen that wouldnt stay clicked down for me to write and explained that it would be dishonest of me to send the whole pack of pens back when i love the pens so much that ive used them relentlessly since getting them so theyre lacking a whole lot of ink. they sent me a whole new pack saying theyd be here in 3 days. they were here the next day. i have their chalk markers too and theyre amazing. everything about this company is top notch!

I bought these pens to write someone what I knew was going to be a fairly long letter on black stationary. By fairly long, I mean eight stationary sized pages front and back... I alternated colors for each paragraph so trust I got a lot of use out of these already... My thoughts - these pens do not smudge as readily and are a finer tip than a traditional gel pen - which I would hazard a guess is the primary competition for pens with these ink colors. Once you take off the little plastic caps off the tips, you will find the first initial strokes are not great. You have to keep writing. The more you write in one go? The smoother they become. I found that when I went back to one pen and started to write again, there was again a tiny bit of lag time so to say. The ink also seems to become more vibrant once it has set on the paper. Literally like five minutes later, much more vibrant than when it originally went on. The palest green and the white are *almost* indistinguishable from each other. The pink and the purple are also fairly close in color as well. All the other colors I would say stand out from each other. Also, where traditional gel pens eat up ink fairly quickly... these lasted my entire massively long letter... I don't know how much ink is left since they're solid and don't show ink like most gel pens do... but they lasted for my crazy long letter.
