I wasn't sure about the silent click, but now that I have it in the office, I realize how loud my other mouse was. I had to of been annoying someone with my mouse clicking all day long, LOL! I love this mouse. I have small hands, so it is bigger than the compact mouse I was previously using, but I love that! It feels better to use and my hand hasn't once cramped up while using it (which was happening with the compact mouse). 10/10 would by again!

I'm about to be a freshman in college and wanted a simple Bluetooth mouse for my MacBook, asked my friend and she recommended the Logitech M550. I'm no tech nerd so a mouse is a mouse but this one is something else. It clicks so silently and it's so relaxing. The scroll wheel is very comfortable and feels very good quality, definitely not cheap or plasticky like generic computer mice.ost importantly, showing this thing off to my family, it is very sensory friendly, bonus stars for it being a lil fidget toy for you ADHDers out there. Overall excellent, the Bluetooth is solid and it's a very nice, comfortable mouse.

It's a small mouse even though I bought the "large." BUT... the similarly priced ambidextrous M510 has side buttons. The similarly priced right-handed M705 has side buttons (and shorter). The more expensive deluxe right-handed MX720 has side buttons (works with 3 PCs). It's like the OLD (only Logitech software) M525 with no buttons. I can only hope the lack of buttons will give me better battery life. I'd have been happier with any of those others but I'm too lazy to return this and it's a 5-star mouse. The M705 (like the MX720) has a more comfortable, right-slanted ergonomic body with a thumb rest and a scroll wheel that you can unlock for free-scrolling, a better build, and a 3X longer warranty. I was simply happy to get ANY Logitech with its better connectivity (vs my MK960). I should have bought the MX720, the overall ZeeBooth favorite. I am quite happy with this mouse (despite being cheaper today). But I would not recommend it. You should pick one of the other three based on whether you want ambidextrous, right-handed, or to use with multiple PCs. All great 1000 dpi work mice (12000 dpi Logitech G305 for gaming). The included USB connector is the new Bolt version. With its new software, you can change scroll speed as well as modify what the middle button (under the scroller) does. I picked "previous." Duh. The one feature this mouse has is Logitech's new "smart" wheel - where fast scrolls automatically turns it smooth (from normal tactile). And yes, it is very quiet. Get the S/M size if you prefer a claw or fingertip grip due to being smaller/lighter.

TL;DR - Good for everyday use, plug and play functionality, the "smart wheel" isn't that good in practice. I bought this device for my M4 iPad Pro via a Thunderbolt-compatible multi-port hub. I plug in the USB dongle there, and it's plug and play. No configuring needed, and that's great. It does what needs to be done, but the "smart wheel" is more of a hassle than a convenience. Maybe it's a godsend on Windows or Linux, but on Mac and iPadOS it's frustrating to carefully dance around the sensor's detection of when you want to scroll fast. I'm still going to use it, everything else is great, but that is the killer feature and it falls flat.

My wife has been using the M310 mice for a long time. They fit her hand well, have a great battery life and overall just good usage/tracking for her. Her mouse finally went out after several years of good use and when I went to buy a replacement and it seems the M310 has gone the way of the dodo. After a good amount of hunting around I found that Logitech has split some of its mice in a small and large version. I bought the small version of the M550. My wife says that it's pretty comparable in size and feel. It's a simple mouse for smaller hands. We've had it for a short while and can say the battery life is good, tracking etc. is good. Hopefully it will last as long as the old M310s did.
