Not as strong as ones I've bought in the past

way way strong! Be careful if they are close to each other they come together hard and fast this will pinch skin and can cause magnet to shatter and pieces go flying everywhere, could cause injury. If you need a strong magnet, use. I glued (silicone) on the back side of a shower around opening so I can use fish tank cleaner magnets on the front side to hold shower curtain closed, works great through 3/16" plastic.

The magnets are very strong.But when I was sliding one of them off the other, the magnet broke in two. I hope this do not happen to the others. Otherwise very strong for their size. Magnetized on both sides. Followup- the company has replaced the magnets.So, in my book it is 5 stars!

I bought these for a project and although I didn't use them on that project due to a design change, that was not due to any fault of the batteries... They work as intended and would have worked fine had I stuck to the original design... The only thing I will note, is that like all neodymium magnets, they are brittle and thus you should never allow them to fling towards each other or the surface you are sticking them on, always slow contact or with something thin between them so that they don't smack together and chip or break... I broke one while testing, again this is no fault of the magnet itself, I wasn't being careful enough...

So I have those screen doors you just tack up to keep the bugs out with a magnetic closure. Thing is those magnets just are great. They have a few great magnets and these long weak magnets making up the closure. The screens in good shape but since the magnets are lacking I thought I would just update those instead of everything. Enter these babies. Since the fabric is plastic I crazy glued the little guys on one side and attached, let them attach themselves, to the glued magnet. This allowed me to know which side needs to be glued down. A few minutes later and everything is glued and my screen is closing like a champ. Dogs can still walk/run through no problem but now it closes with that oh so good clacking sounds you heard on the as seen on TV version. I even used it on the curtain I put up between the kitchen and living room. With the backdoor always open and my cooking in the kitchen it creates a lot of heat. The curtain goes up and automatically the living room is decidedly cooler. The magnets keeping it closed makes sure the heat stops there. For that I bought a photo backdrop curtain since those are essentially black out curtains but much larger and cheaper. These magnets stick together so well it's kind of hard to take them apart, especially if you want only 1. That just means they will work well for what you need, especially if you're using them to stick 2 together for something. Would buy again and hopefully next time I won't be missing one. Yeah, I sorted the magnets by 20 and at the end I was missing a single tiny magnet but I think when you get 150 there would be a time or 2 when one goes missing.
