I have only used this once but so far it is very good. It sucks up the water, leaving no streaks and cleans very easily. I chose the birds as they are very pretty if you want to hang it up to dry. I will purchase these again when needed. barb

Better than cloth! These hold up well and work great. They are easy to use and clean well.

Im a fan of Swedish cloths. They absorb a lot of liquid. They stay intact and are strong. They can easily be washed and reused. They last a long time. They dry so fast. They can be used for so much. They are available in cute designs. So what I do is buy a new pack with a new design, such as this one with birds, when my old pack starts to get old, stained, and shabby. I dont throw the used ones away, they simply become used for deep cleaning (instead of dishes). So the new for my dishes and counters. The old ones for floors, cars, polishing, walls, bathrooms, anything really. And they will last for a long, long time. I only throw them out if I clean something gross and truly dont want to reuse. Otherwise I wash and rewatch and they last for what seems like forever. To clean these I put them in the washer and dryer, both in hot setting for disinfecting. They come out wrinkled but very clean, intact, and ready to be used again. Seriously so much better than paper towels, and they dry so fast. Ive been using Swedish cloths for years, and swear by them. These with the birds were at a great price, with a cute design, which is why I bought them. I always shop around for best price, and these were the best deal at time of purchase. I dont worry about brand, since so far they are all pretty much the same. I just pay attention to size, quantity, design and price.

First these are true Swedish dish cloth style. They dry very thin, wavy, and crisp - as they are suppose to! -and puff up thick when wet. They are durable. I do a lot of hand washing and generally get 5 weeks use, or more, from this style of cloth before they are dingy and losing texture. Ive used Swedish dish cloths of different brands, sizes, and patterns for about 6 years now. Worth the extra cost over traditional cellulose sponges. Yes, initial $ output is higher but in the end it is cheaper because they last so much longer. Plus these are beautiful to look at (that alone makes them worth it for me) and they dont get smelly. Nothing grosser than a wet, mildewy sponge stinking up the kitchen. The printing fades a little faster on these than some, but it does stay put. The colorful birds add cheer to a dull task (even slightly faded) so Im not taking off a star for that. The photo shows fresh and unused vs 2 weeks of use in its dry potato chip-like state. True Swedish style dish cloths are supposed to dry into this btw, if yours dont youve been had! I just ordered some plain ones, before these (not from here) that were called Swedish but were just regular sponges cut thin - so annoying. I usually like to get the xl 10x10. Either plain, or geometric patterned ones, and cut them in half into 2 5x10s. Full sized squares can feel a little too big - especially when you are used to a regular style sponge. Plus, double the sponges/better economy. No cutting these of course, but they were so pretty I couldnt resist!
