This mini macro keyboard is easy to set up and program, and it even comes with a 128 GB flash drive with the software on it. You can still download the software from their website, of course. I found the software a bit clunky to use, and it takes some playing around, but was fairly easily able to program this device to use the different buttons for Play/Pause and two Ctrl-Alt-(letter) key combinations; I programmed the knob to be a volume control. The main problem I had is that it stops working sometimes. It could be a few minutes after I've started up my computer, or hours later, but the colorful light sequence I programmed will just stop and the buttons & knob don't work at all. It's easy to reset by just unplugging and re-plugging the USB-C connector where it plugs into the macro keyboard, but that's kind of a hassle and so I doubt that I will use this product anymore. I tried using different USB ports on my computer, but that didn't make a difference. It's a great product and concept, but a shame that it stops working like this.

I'm going to begin by saying that this is an amazing addition to my setup. I'm in conference calls on Teams daily. I wanted/needed something that would let me quickly mute my Mic, Camera, and adjust volume. I'd looked at a few other options, but really didn't see one that would be small enough, and unobtrusive enough, to go on my desk. Sure, I saw the big half a mouse pad version that explicitly called out Teams and Skype; however, when reading the reviews for those it noted that you have to have that app active. For me, I've got multiple screens and am doing multiple things during these meetings...that wouldn't be an option. Enter this little macro keyboard that I can program... By itself it can do a lot. I programmed it, initially, as my volume control. Once I had that working, along with the mute option, I started looking at how to get it to control my Mic and Camera. By itself, it falls slightly short of what I needed. But, when combined with MS PowerTools, which is a free download for Windows 10 and 11, and activating the shortcut options for the Mic and Video, it does exactly what I wanted it to. Now, instead of clicking my mouse over to Teams and clicking the Mic or Video, I can tap a key on this little mechanical keyboard and it does it for me. What's I really like is that I can be working on a completely different application (i.e. if I'm presenting, and working within Excel, I can easily mute my mic at the press of a button without having to move back into Teams to do so). The size is perfect to be able to travel (for when I have to be in the office, but still on calls), uses a standard USB-C cable (which I have plenty of), and once programmed holds that program (so far, I haven't had it drop it yet). If you're in meetings regularly, this is a must have! I've suggested it to a variety of my peers, as well as to some of the people on the other side of the calls I'm in, and am beyond happy with how well it works.

This really is a useful little thing to have off to the side of my keyboard. I use it to control muting my mic in conference calls and also stop/starting my music. The dial for volume works as it should. The software is the real let down for this keyboard though. It's very non-intuitive, that's for sure. It took me, an IT veteran a few minutes to understand it and that you need to write the changes immediately after setting a key. You can't set them all then push the config. You must push it once for every key. Luckily, once you've programmed the board you do not have to keep the software running or anything. The config is kept with the keys so it's easy to setup and move to a different computer.

Not a bad customizable keypad in terms of build quality. This is pretty simple but the software it comes with is what brings this down. Windows defender thinks this is possible malware and its kinda clunky. If the software could be worked on and updated this would fix most of its issues.
