The magnetics are very strong. Though not a supercharger but I find that the charge my phone gets using these is better than your typical plug-in charger. It comes with a cool little tool that helps remove the part that stays in your phone or your device easier which is nice. So far it has been a good product

Overall it's probably not bad for the average person who sits at a desk. Unfortunately it does not work well in a vehicle. The vibration causes the magnet to connect and disconnect repeatedly leading to very slow charging. It's also susceptible to the same problems as just using the USB charger: dirt and lint gets packed around the magnet further degrading the connection.

In the item description the cable directly tells you that it doesn't do data. I didn't see that originally because it's far enough down you have to click the expand buttonb to see it.
