I have a 125g tank and the magnets are not the best with thick glass. It works you just cant get aggressive or move fast or it will lose magnetic hold on the scrubber. On my 40g no issues.

Definitely had helped with algae

I have a 55 Gallon Hexagon shaped aquarium. My plecostomus (algae eater) died about a month ago and I havent had a chance to replace it. Algae had built up on the aquarium glass pretty bad. I ordered the medium sized magnet cleaner and it removed the buildup easily! I was even able to maneuver the magnet around the corners of the hexagon shaped glass sides without the inside cleaning part falling off. Well, I think it came loose once, but I was able to easily get it to adhere back to the magnet, without even putting my hand down into the inside of the aquarium water.

This product worked for me, but it did require much more effort than I was expecting. The scraper and Velcro backing didnt clean my glass as efficiently as other glass cleaners have.
