Like other make it real bracelet kits, you'll need additional items such as scissors, tape, ruler, and glue to build a bracelet. Otherwise, the standout feature in this kit is the mold and 9 colors of air-dry clay. Interestingly, the clay packets don't come in resealable bags, so the clay is prone to drying out if not sealed in a plastic bag after. As far as cons, I think the most glaring was the presentation. It would have been nice if the items were organized in a plastic tray of some sort instead of loose in the box. However, this bracelet kit has a nice instruction pamphlet that is large and easy to read. Overall, this kit comes with a lot of items to make a unique bracelet, but the presentation could be nicer.

This is a fun gift for little girls. I thought my 12-year-old might want to give it to her friend for her birthday, but she said it was too little kid-ish. The girl on the front of the box looks about 15, but this is best for 8-11-year-olds. As usual, the box is way oversized, but it includes the nine small packages of clay, one charm bracelet, the mold with 25 charm shapes, and the metal hooks, plastic beads, and elastic cord for making normal bracelets. The instructions are good, though hard to follow for a younger child, as each step is written in several languages. It also shows you how to mix colors to make new colors, shades, or swirls. It would make a fun gift for any crafty little girl.

We gave this to our 8-year-old granddaughter this Easter. She is a creative, artistically inclined young lady. In short. she had a great time with this kit. As did some of the adults who started to participate! It surprised me how intuitive she was in the process of making the charms. Although this was her first time using a kit like this, she utilized the sculpting tool to insert and smooth the clay like a pro. The kit comes with a decent amount of clay and all the required elements to create very cute little clay charms. The clay hardens on its own after 24 hours so no need for any baking. A definite hit with her and us.

My wife has used air-dry clay before so she decided to try this kit. She likes all the cute charms you can make and the mold that comes with it. It has several packets of air-dry clay in pretty colors. One thing to be aware of though, once those packets are opened you will need to tape them back up and put them in small ziplock bags to keep the air out or the clay will dry up. The clay is on the pricey side to buy more. There is enough clay to make a lot of cute charms. You can paint air-dry clay once it's hardened, so you can add details and different colors too. The kit comes with a chain to add your charms to and beads with elastic to make stretchy bracelets too. My wife made a little teddy bear to see if it worked well. It does. She thinks you might be able to use the mold for other types of materials as it is silicone but she wouldn't use it for food as it doesn't say it's food-safe. I would say it's not for younger kids. It's a good value as a craft kit.
