This did a good job of cleaning my brushes, except for my fountain brush which because of the design, didn't fit in the machine. That's the brush that needs the most cleaning. The machine isn't super powerful, so too much pressure stalls the spinning.

I was excited to finally try an electric brush cleaner, but this wasnt as impressive as I thought it would be. First off, the cord is permanently attached to the base, so theres no good way to rinse or clean the bowl part without getting most of the cord wet! The silicone brush holder top keeps brushes in place, but it only works for smaller, shorter brushes. The spin power also isnt very strong, so my brushes didnt get a deep enough clean and I cant use my bigger powder brushes in it or the spin doesnt work :( I think this is good for upkeep cleaning, but this isnt strong enough for deep cleaning foundation brushes or larger brushes.

This brush cleaner works quite well! The lid can hold the brushes tightly (with exception of a couple that I own) and keeps them suspended in the cleaning liquid. Turning on the unit it really spins up the liquid well and gets all the makeup out of the brushes with ease. After dumping the liquid, you can keep the brushes suspended to dry in the container with no mess. Really love this unit to keep them clean!

The media could not be loaded. I was very interested with this makeup brush cleaner, though I kept my expectations low. It's definitely annoying to have to clean makeup brushes, so anything that could hopefully speed the process up a bit is a welcome tool. I chose to put a splash of shampoo in the water, and that actually worked quite well. You could see the results of the brushes that I cleaned, although not all of them fit into the lid which holds the brushes. So, only three of the four were able to go through the spin cycle. However, even the one that didn't fit into the lid, I used the solution in the container and the ridges on the inside of the container to clean the brush. The set also comes with a small rubber pad that has undulations and patterns on it, which is used to rub against the bristles to help agitate and clean them. So for my large brush, I used those two tools, and it worked very well. Or the other three bushes that fit into the lid, I did the same procedure, and then put them through a spin cycle, as you can see by the video I posted. The little machine in conjunction with the solution that I put inside it, created a soapy mixture that did a great job of washing the bristles of those brushes. In all honesty, I was pleasantly surprised. The brushes came out nice and clean, and it certainly was much easier than doing every single one by hand. I guess my only complaint is the fact that if the brush you have has a thick handle, it can't be held by the lid in order to put it through the spin cycle. It only accommodates thinner brush handles, and the other thing is, due to the size of the container, it can only accommodate about a maximum of four brushes at a time. You might squeeze one or two more in there, but I think it's probably more effective to leave more space in between each brush. The last thing I want to mention is that the instruction manual that came with this brush cleaner is simply terrible. It didn't make any sense to me whatsoever, so I chose to ignore it altogether. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised, and can attest to the fact that it does a very good job. If you have only a few brushes, or like to clean your brushes immediately after use, then this is a great little contraption. I think I can still confidently recommend it.
