I bought this cord to replace and/or add to the cord in my travelers notebooks. I actually ended up preferring this cord to the cord the notebooks originally come with. It's sturdy, attractive, well packaged, very easy to use, and the perfect size for a travelers notebook. I did notice this has ever so slightly more stretch it to than the cords the travelers notebook comes with, but that can easily be compensated for. It actually benefits more because I can easily have more expansions in my TN and not snag pages. So this is perfect! I'll order this in black too. Great buy!

I have made hundreds of masks this year using this elastic for ear loops for friends, family, neighbors, and to donate to various places in my community. I bought it in both hot pink and bright green, and have been delighted with its durability. Its thin enough to sit comfortably behind the ear (and be easy to stitch over) and stretchy enough to keep masks tight to your face. It does stretch out over time and repeated use like any lightweight elastic will but my solution was to just knot it again to make the ear loops tighter. I would definitely recommend this elastic!

Bought this for mask ear loops. Feels slightly looser/stretchier than some other brands Ive used, but definitely works fine and the price is much cheaper compared to buying it in small packages at fabric/craft stores. Roll is a bit wonky - I couldnt find an end, so I had to just cut it. Ive used about half the roll so far and have only encountered one damaged spot of broken elastic and one splice knot. Definitely happy overall.

I bought this elastic to use as around-the-head fasteners for cloth face masks. It is perfect. 1 have used 1mm cord on children's masks, but it feels a little too fragile for adult masks. The 2mm size is just what I was hoping for. It is strong enough to hold the mask firmly, stretchy enough to slip over the head easily, and is easy to tie securely. I make pleated masks with side channels, running a continuous loop of elastic through both sides long enough to have two loops behind the head. Depending on head size, you need 28" - 32" for an adult mask. That means you can make 90-100 masks out of this reel, for a cost of about $.15/mask. That seems like a good deal to me. I do not like masks with short ear loops (they just slide off my ears) but I don't think this elastic would work as well for ear loops. It is a little rough, and possibly not stretchy enough. But it was just what I needed for my design, and it arrived promptly.

6/6 add on. Just received my second order of this elastic and in just two days! It is my favorite for masks, easy to sew over...Ive had corded elastic that was not as soft and stretchy as this and really messed up my bobbin but not this. Ive paid way more for just 10-20 yds of that kind of elastic so this is a great deal. I didnt measure it bit its a hefty amount and Ive just used the last of my first purchase from March tho it was not the only type elastic I used but it made a ton of the 500 masks I donated, phew! If I need more this is where Ill get it for sure. .Perfect for me to make masks for my local hospital right now...already made 62 and ran out... elastic getting hard to buy online. Took a week to get here, not too bad as usps shipping slower with all the online orders. Not a real tight elastic which is what you wAnt for them as theyll be on longer periods of time so wont cause headaches etc.
