Question why certain supplements included

My dog seems to like these treats but must admit I have not found any he didn't like. There are several ingredients that are used as human supplements that have questionable use in humans, I am not a veterinary nutritional expert but not sure I understand the addition in a dog treat. L-tryptophand, betaine, L-larnitine. I can not say these are good or bad but is there enough in the treats to do any good?Also has maple syrup. Item is made in France. They are a nice size for training treats. Mild as far as odor, some treats are really strong.

My dogs like them

My dogs love raw sweet potatoes. We've never given them raw salmon, but they also love the skin from cooked salmon. We've hardly ever had pumpkin around for them to try. These treats which combine those 3 items are a hit with our dogs. When we have company with kids or people who are afraid of dogs, we use these teams to lure the dogs to the bedroom and away from company.

Amazing ingredients!

I absolutely love this brand! I even got the salmon dog treat version which my pups loved. The ingredients are mostly whole foods which an average treat brand doesn't offer. It's amazing how salmon is 50% and there are no grains or other filler ingredients which are unnecessary carbs. It seems like the owners of this brand really care about the dogs. These aren't soft like Zukes but I prefer it because it makes my dog chew a little more and it doesn't' stick to their teeth. My dogs seems to love the flavor because it's considered his higher valued treat and he listens better when he knows I have this on my hand. Amazing treat!

My dog loves those

First things first: my dog loves these treats. For me as a pet nutritionist with focus on a natural diet (I prefer homemade pet food, raw or cooked if neccessary) I am always picky about ingredients. The ingredients in the Salmon Treats are much better than other big brands have. The treats are bigger than I expected, so I can't use it for our training. What I like is, that the treats are not as soft as others but are not crunchy either. Something in between. What is not so nice that they will get mushy when getting wet. Over all it is a good treat. The price is good for what you get.
