McCormick Parmesan Garlic Simmer & Serve Sauce Mix, 0.87 oz (Pack of 12)...

I love all things parmesan and garlic but this sauce mix is underwhelming at best. As other reviewers have mentioned, it isn't quite "ready in 5 minutes." It's a tad too salty for my taste and I believe I'll use this "sauce" packet when I need something quick and I don't have anything else in my pantry.

This is a great value for a box of these. This helps make a very quick meal when you just don't want to be creative. We love to just grill or bake a quick batch of chicken breasts and cover with this sauce. It has a good garlic flavor without being too salty or cheap tasting. You can always count on McCormick to come in clutch with a good quick meal idea!

This sauce mix is so delicious! I haven't had the best luck with other sauces from a packet but this one was a pleasant surprise. Others have had an artificial aftertaste but this one did not have that. It was super creamy and tasty. I used it on baked chicken breasts and oven roasted potatoes and it was great with both. I love how easy this makes it to elevate a dish and turn it from bland to super enjoyable in an easy way. It is a dry sauce packet so it stores very well and you don't have to worry about it expiring super quick so you can stock up to always have it on hand. Would recommend this if you want an easy way to add more flavor to simple dishes.

An exquisitely tasty and easy to make pan sauce in a pouch. This sauce was perfect on chicken and salmon. It really made a lazy dinner night several so much better!

It does thicken up slightly some time after coming off the stove or out of the microwave, but not quite ready in 5 minutes!, and not really to the point Id consider this a sauce, much less the way it looks like thick country gravy in the product pics. A beurre blanc this is not. I even tried cooling it in the fridge for a bit, but it didnt go past that initial faint thickening. Otherwise, I like that the ingredients are fairly clean. While theres a decent amount of salt/sodium, its not overly so. Lemon Herb Butter - Flavor is predominantly thyme, and I dont really get any notes of lemon. With the milk base, it comes off slightly Ranch-y, but thinner. It does stick to things, so could work as a quick light pasta coating (I hesitate to call it a sauce), but I dont think Ill be putting it on meat.
