Love the colors and the quality of this set. The pencils come in two different sizes of lead 0.5 & 0.7, and in very beautiful pastel colors. They seem sturdier than what we had before. Time will tell, as nothing seems to last long for the kids in school. The lead is soft enough that it doesnt scratch the paper like others do and it is normal black color you would expect from a pencil. Highly recommend.

These were writing so thin and light I grabbed my micrometer. The 0.7mm lead is measuring at 0.5mm and the 0.5mm lead is measuring at 0.3. Seems a touch harder than HB lead too. There's nothing special about the way these hold. They're too narrow to be called ergonomic; they're about the same feel as your classic wooden pencil but in plastic. They're really not even that presentable as a gift. They come in a box with no separators and there's extra space in the box so all the pencils and lead are leaning at various angles. Just looks sloppy.

We use a lot of pencils in our office, so these are a nice addition and they come with extra leads which i great. Good writing, no lead breakage (under normal use) and everyone seems to like them! Much sturdier than a BIC or other budget pencil for the same price! They are made nicely.

Can't say I'm impressed with these. It took me ages to figure out how to get the lead in and even then some of the pencils aren't allowing the lead to go in (and yes, I'm using the correct size lead, before anyone asks). There's no guidance on how to refill the lead so you're stuck with trial and error, completely lost on how anything fits into the pencil. Half the pencils don't work when you use them -- the lead goes right back into the pencil when you press down even though you're not pressing the clicker. On the pens that do work, the lead is weird and rounded and doesn't lend itself easily to actually drawing. Overall, these miss the mark at every point. Very upsetting because this looks like a really nice pack until you actually open it and find out how disappointing it is.

This is a great set of .5 and .7 mechanical pencils. The real choice in the set is the color. They're quite nice but are a little more pastel than what I thought from the product page. I tried to show how the pencil I thought was blue in the product page is actually a purple. The one's I've tried have worked great, no problem. They aren't pro quality, but they are a great value. There's a ton of refill lead with this too and each pencil has an eraser under the end cap too.
