I'm collecting a series of these figurines and displaying them around the house. This crocodile came up and I grabbed him. My impressions: - Like all the other figurines in these series, this one is solid and well built. It feels hefty in the hand. One of the uses that the vendor calls out is as a cake topper, but I think this figurine would sink completely through the cake. It's that heavy. Another usage is as a kids' toy, but the kids will need to pry it out of my hands (or reach way up on my shelves) to grab hold of this one. If they do, though, it will survive anything they put it through. - The coloring is very meticulous and realistic. It looks like the natural colors of a crocodile, missing of course the scars and dirt that come with actually living in the wild. It is definitely realistic enough for my needs. - The jaw opens, but this is more of a kid thing that will never be used (much) in my display. Once set, I expect my displays to stay static forever. By itself, the crocodile figurine is impressive and fearsome-looking. When I place it on my display with my dinosaur figurines, however, the crocodile is almost hidden by the towering dinosaurs because it's so close to the ground. Still an imposing and impressive figurine, but some thought needs to go into how to display it to its full effect. Still, highly recommended.

My son loves animal figures; theyre his favorite toys to play with. Hes particularly keen about bald eagles, so finding this set of 4 birds had me soaring! The detailing is outstanding, with each bird having a high degree of effort put into the styling. Admittedly, the snowy owl does have a wonky eye situation, but its not a dealbreaker; things happen in the wild My son got a kick out of the pelican with a fish in its bill. The bald eagle was of course his favorite, but he was excited about the whole set. These birds are made from a dense, sturdy plastic material that should hold up well to frequent play. These birds are a great value and very competitively priced. My son is thrilled with his new birds, so happy kiddo, happy mama!
