A very sturdy bowl

I got this for my cats. We have 13 cats and never enough bowls, even though they will all share a bowl. I try to get stainless steel bowls when I can but I took a chance on this one. First of all, it's very sturdy and has some heft to it. You can throw it in the dishwasher without worry. And if you drop it, it doesn't smash or crack. The size is generous enough for all but my very hungry fat cat. LOL And as an added bonus, it has a no-skid ring on the bottom that keeps the bowl in place. I like this bowl much more than I thought I would and I might have to get some more. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Cheap material

Looks like it is made of cheap material, but, that is still okay since it is light, but, main concern is the depth. Food keeps coming out when my pet is eating, tried pouring water, but, since the depth is small, it didnt hold enough water.

A little shallow so probably better suited for food

I ordered this cute little melamine pet bowl to use as a water dish for my cats, but it's a little shallow, and I think it would work better as a food bowl. The bowl has skid-resistant material around the base, which is nice because it prevents it from moving around. The finish on the inside of my bowl is a little gritty (I couldn't get it to show up in the photos), but it shouldn't affect its usability, unless, of course, you have a finicky pet that doesn't like to eat from a gritty surface. However, since I'm using it for water, this isn't an issue for me.

Sturdy and low-profile

This is a great bowl for my foster kittens! They are both resource guarders and get a little bonkers during meal time, so they kept sending their bowl across the floor. This one stays put and is low-profile so it's less likely to tip over. It has silicone on the bottom to keep it more secure as well. The design is cute, and you can't beat the price!

Keeps the food off the floor.

My wife had started giving our cat his wet food on a small plate, but it seemed like most of the food was going on the floor. This bowl has solved that issue. My cat doesn't seem to eat the food at the very edges of the bowl, but I take his food-spoon and move the food to the middle; problem solved. The bowl is sturdy, and there is a nonskid ring on the bottom to prevent the bowl from moving.
