does what it needs to, but is missing a sleeve

yes this does what it needs to and it's amazing, BUT it's missing the sleeve, this does not come with a sleeve for the spatula so this is way more prone to bacteria which means you have to clean it after and before every use. a little inconvenient but it's all right. still love it!

Nicer than expected

It is weighty and feels expensive. You could get a cheaper one at any craft store but it doesn't give a nice, luxurious vibe like this make up spatula.

I dont have the Korean picasso version to compare against but this one looks like a good dupe, its solid and smooth; honestly its a pretty simple tool. I ordered this brand bc of the price. Right after I ordered this I saw one in Daiso (for cheaper lol) and I couldnt wait so I bought it too. They are basically the same but this one is a teensy bit slimmer than the one from daiso, the blade thickness is the same (I say blade but they are obviously blunt) but the daiso one is a hair wider. I cant tell than the slight difference in size makes any difference in use. I will say I was surprised at how much I loved using the spatula technique to apply liquid foundation, it makes a little go a long way. I think the key is prepping the skin so it is smooth and moisturized so the spatula can glide easily. I feel like it made applying foundation way faster too? And it was more evenly applied? I know people are using the spatula to spread a thin layer of foundation and then going over with a beauty blender or sponge but I think its unnecessary, using my fingers to blend out the edges seemed to be enough. Also, this tool is super hygienic, Ive been wiping mine with rubbing alcohol before and after use, so also an upgrade over a sponge. Super easy to add to a makeup bag, and unlike a sponge Im sure itll last forever too. Id say try the technique out, and if you dont like using it this could double as a letter opener, mini frosting spatula, or soft cheese knife lol
